I love the way this guy navigated the fretboard with octaves, it's the approach I take with my guys who don't want to learn the notes and it really works. Thanks for this video man.

Brilliant demo guys what I love about playing the guitar after 46 years is you could live for a thousand years and never stop learning there is no such thing as a complete master of guitar its impossible with so many different styles and techniques which is why no matter what level you play at never lose heart in your ability every new day is a school day for learning

One of the biggest impact learning's I picked up from Corey is, playing guitar is so much more more than memorizing and regurgitating notes. It's as much about timing and phrasing, whether one or two notes or an arpeggio and the placement of that phrase in the context of music / measure(s). I'm 69 and retired and on a fixed income so any freebies I can find are cool. Worked on Corey's dominant 7th arpeggios today until I needed a change (thanks Lightnin Hopkins). But back for a few chord ideas. Thanks guys You're both great.

Yeah, this is gonna take me more than 15 minutes. Excellent lesson though, thanks. Brett, back a while you would interview other guitar players then follow up with a lesson, like "This is what we learn from that." They were awesome! There are so many great players out there but I just find it so much easier to learn from you.

I've watched a lot of guitar videos recently, and this is one of my favorites so far. Very cool stuff. The only thing that would have made it better, for me, would have been some chord diagrams, just to make things crystal clear.
