Fun Fact: the Cynics were called Cynics because they were seen as surly and coarse in their lifestyle, like stray dogs. "Cynic" comes from "kynos", which means "dog"...like Eevee.

As soon as Julia got “unsightly”, I just thought it was perfect. She’s often quite good at making Pokémons into somewhat disturbing creatures. Often by just making them into human men. Which, unsurprisingly (and yet, perfectly) is what she did.

I like to listen along while drawing, it makes me feel like I have art friends, it also takes the pressure off making a perfect drawing, and to fall asleep to as well, it’s comforting like you’re the first one to fall asleep at a sleepover or in a house with a big family, who are staying up and talking just outside your door 🥰

I have been listening to old episodes of drawfee to sleep for about two and a half years now. I just like listening to the conversation and I try to imagine what is on screen, gets my mind away from anything bad. I figure I'm probably in the top 10% of most rewatches of drawfee because I just let them autoplay while I'm sleeping.

The most famous cynic was Diogenes. He lived in a barrel with dogs (the name cynic means literally "like a dog"). Once, Alexander The Great visited Diogenes and told him to ask for anything. Diogenes just looked at him and said "Dude, get out of my sun!" This Cynical Eevee EXHALES this very energy.

Maybe.. *Maybe* .. if her adjective had been something like "cute" or "furry" or like.. "spikey". Maybe she mightve drawn something more animalistic. But give her a synonym for grotesque... Was there any other possible Juli-esque interpretation of unholy horror, than man-monster?

To answer Jacob's question: "is Eevee a dog?", the answer is basically "if you want it to be, then sure". Gamefreak had an interview discussing the creation of Eevee and the topic of what its based on came up, to summarize, Eevee is supposed to be vaguely familiar, like a creature you caught a glimpse of and try to describe to your friends what it looked like. If I recall correctly.

Fun fact, Eevees have such an adaptable nature that over time, they tend to morph to match their owner's facial features. Unsightlion is just an eevee that stuck with its owner for like 20years before ever evolving.
