I'll say it as a Pyrocynical fan, I don't think Pyro's "explanation" video of this situation is well put at all. I advice everyone to go to Dream's video and click on the chapters you're interested in knowing more about to listen to what he actually has to say. Pyro clearly didn't listen to the part at the very beginning of Dream's response where he emphasizes that the grooming allegations are the absolute most important things to talk about but he feels the need to clear up other things first, and that the video is also divided into chapters especially for those who want to hear that situation specifically. I also think the way Dream's video is put together is very easy to follow so it doesn't feel as long as it is, and it is specifically made for ppl with short attention spans, thus the editing. I personally don't think I've seen a better response video than Dream's one, whether you believe him or not. I feel like Pyro mostly brought up the more irrelevant things (which I also feel like he misinterpreted a lot) and it feels like he goes in with a very biased opinion about Dream and is nitpicking at details that aren't even the point Dream is making. Since Pyro has also been accused of grooming I feel like he should be more compassionate to the situation. Which is dumb and irrelevant to go off on a tangent about. -Pyro believes it's weird for Dream to reference someone who unfollowed Dream. Which it's not. The point of the example was to showcase that other creators have developed relationships with their fans. Doesn't matter how associated they are to Dream, there's still a comparison to be drawn. All just unnecessary nitpicky things that shouldn't affect the weight of Dream's response. A lot of Pyro's commentary just doesn't do any justice. And Pyro really doesn't make Dream's Response any less valid or adequate. As a non-Dream stan who only got invested in the controversy after his recent Response video, I think Dream's video is excellent. Idk if Pyro is trying to stay impartial for his own safety... but eh, I think some of Pyro's comments are biased, trivial, or unnecessary.

Well, as I said before, green blob man just needed to present his side of the story AT MINIMUM. The fact that Twitter goes completely "nuh uh" at this, disagreeing to even hear out a man who has a CHANCE of being slandered, is insane. It's as if Kwite, or Pyro himself, or Slazo, or more cases, taught the internet nothing. Me personally - as a person who did follow up the drama and studied all the sources and info surrounding them myself before making my own decision (I was a skeptic from day one, and did find inconsistencies: the strongest ones are with Amanda lying about getting police involved to get Dream into a legal Damocles sword situation, except she absolutely did not, which IS fishy) - Dream's explanation logic follows exactly how I tried to deduce the situation; his additional materials unreleased prior (actual proof from the PD that no one had any cases filed against him, the other people's accounts of events) have cemented the high probability of innocence. I do think he needed to focus on just the most serious stuff at all - but I get his willing to refute everything at once: firstly, because everyone still clings to old controversies up to this day even though public apologies and damage control were already dealt as much as possible (see the Manatreed thing), and secondly, because it's a move to show that controversy and hate around Dream have snowballed over time. In that case, no controversy is less important, because each was used to explain the following stages of hate and take stuff at face value without critical thinking. Basically, an 1h20m long session of absolutely dunking on Bird App inhabitants. Edit: one word, plus P.S. Twitter is really stupid for sticking their hand into sand on this one. Its hard to say, here is a few points i can make. I think dream talking about alot of small things was very important, though i am not much of a fan of dreams, alot of that old stuff was still being used and talked about pretty heavily. And the main topics against dream were his character. like " he did this, and this, and posts this, and did this, so he 100% did this" It was more just a build up of small things that led to the flood-gates being opened. and IF he DIDN'T address those small things, we know how this whole community is terrible they wouldn't care about the child stuff, and just be like "well why didn't you address this" "you never talked about this so you are admitting it ! " Another point is him personally being in the video with his face. I never really even thought about that point. MOST youtubers no longer show their face. and most the videos he has on his channel are in his "dream character" so it just felt like dream.
