This part is entirely within Florida, starting from Miami and ending at the Martin County Rest Stop along I-95. I stayed at South of the Border, SC on March 29, 2022, and in Washington DC on March 30, 2022 and March 31, 2022. The total drive took a little under 21 hours.

Awesome to see the sunrise through the Bayfront Park and some of the Ultra Music Festival setup at the beginning. I felt like I was tagging along on this road trip but at the comfort of my home and not have to deal with traffic. 😀😂 It's nice that there's a rest stop with ample parking at the end. I love driving videos, they relax me. Driving on I95 out of Miami is something I've done many times but I still enjoying watching it. The Express lane takes you over the Golden Glades Interchange and saves you time when there is traffic but you were driving at the right time. I use it when I go to Aventura since there is an exit from the express lane to Ives Dairy Road. Enjoy your videos AK ❤️ like always.

You are brave, lol. My family always took the FL Turnpike to Ft. Pierce. Last time I drove long distance by myself was TX to GA in 16 hrs., but I have shared driving from TX to LA which took about 24 hrs. straight with only fuel/bathroom/food/stretching breaks. Never again! Love your videos!

Omg you are crazy to drive all that way but I’m here to see it happen. We used to drive 20 hours in the car as kids and it was awful. Be safe and I’m sure you are going to make this a good series of videos.

Hey there. Boy do I remember the excitement of the summer road trip North !! We'd pack the cooler, the suitcases, get in the car and start the drive. (Today) I have a playlist of music we used to hear in the car on the way. Yup, I'm a geek !! We used to take the highway North past the Calder Race Track, and head for Vero Beach. We used to have a CB in the car so we'd run with the truckers, and usually stop when they stopped to meet and greet on the way. Then at Vero Beach we'd break from the convoy going further north, and get on the turnpike with those little cards they used to give you to pay fees on the other end of the stretch . This is going to be a fun set of videos. Florida and Georgia are two of the longest runs on the Eastern Seaboard. Read: Nightmare !!

The express lane going north out of Miami takes you on the flyover at the Golden Glades interchange. When I first moved to Miami, that flyover was just a free option. I used to take it all the time.

That stretch of I 95 is a death trap so many horrible things happen on it we get off at ft. Peirce and take the turnpike down to Miami to avoid that dangerous stretch.

I did the trip from Ft. Lauderdale to Valhalla, New York back in November 1987, in the company of a couple of friends. The car was a 1976 Lincoln Continental, a "Jew Canoe" according to my cousin Eileen, a Ft. Lauderdale resident. May she rest in peace. One of my company had bought the car to ship it to Europe, which he eventually did. I have also driven a "driveaway" twice, from Manhattan to West Palm Beach in 1979 and from Manhattan to Ft. Lauderdale in 1981. Apart from rental round trips FL-NC and NY-NC. Good times!

Cool way to see Florida and the other states is by driving , i’ve never drove in Florida although if that doesn’t count , the bus rides from Ft Lauderdale-Key West and Ft Lauderdale-Orlando 🤔! Some may think that these kind of videos are boring but i think the opposite , i think these are quite interesting way to see more than just the city 🙂so! Thank you for sharing A K 👍!!!

I have driven Miami-Orlando and Miami-Cayo Hueso (Key West) round trip more times than I can bother to count. Kind of boring. Might be fun & interesting as a one time experience though.

There are a few KZfaqrs that do this, these driving videos, and they are quite popular. A notable one is J Utah. Good way to see the world without leaving your home, lol. Anyway, I really enjoy these driving videos. Probably why I like your scooter and bike videos the best.

I've done that trip 3 times back in1970 and 1973 in a VW bug with a great dane! Before i95 complete. More recently 2011 in a Ford no dog.

If this was my trip, I'd have gone express lanes all the way. Much less hassle with the slowdowns & speeding idiots changing lanes. Here in California the express lanes are much more efficient for long trips.

The Brightline doesn't extend to North Florida, whether it's faster depends on how it's configured. I might take the Amtrak one day! It could be a fun journey
