@@emilgabor88 thanks for the info. All of my other brand dro will stay on diameter mode for x axis all of the time. This one i can't get it to save that way. I have to remember to select diameter mode every time i use the x axis

@@gibhamracing37 on the lathe on the lathe mine always stays on diameter mode. I had three of them and they are other generations, and a little bit different. One lathe I sold. So I use just two of them now. But they’re pretty decent for the money. I like them both have advantages and disadvantages. For example, one if you make a touch of and set an X , press the button button to type a number , and you move the X it actually compensate for the movement, this is the newer one . But the older one you can press the button before you even are close to the workplace and when you touch off your set, enter and register you’re offset. Both are useful in different stations.. and one has Absolut incrementsl And datum The older base incremetal , absolute and the datum’s . so the new one you need to press one button more to go to the Tool off set.

I have a Hymseann SNS-3V, probably with almost the same software in it, and I can't get the calculator to work. Pressing the calculator button does nothing (other than a beep)
