Save your batteries for the last space elevator items. Yesterday I just finished my first section of a battery plant. Had problems with the extra water that comes from batteries. First I connected it back into the bauxite water system like yours, thinking it will be used. But It caused backup and shut down of the battery. So I tried cutting down the water for bauxite. It still caused issues. I don't like underclocking or percents. My final solution was bringing some overflow coal to the battery water output and burning the water off in 4 coal generators. They go off and on making sure that all battery water is used up. It burns more than batteries produce, zero shutdown. I like how people have different concepts and solutions. Anyways good stuff.

Hey Dekoba I love your videos, even so I've used a few of your builds, one that has kept me on the go for a few days is this Battery factory. I'm on a dedicated server of my own I cannot seem to fully run the factory with the pipe network you had so I separated the Sulphuric acid with it's own water source from the Blender/Refineries with it's own. I do not know if its because of dedicated server or pipes don't work as they should, anyways keep the videos coming cannot wait what you have in store for us next :) btw the other i build I've done is the diluted fuel power station omg mine is pumping out 80gw thanks also for that!!

The same or another drone can deliver it to the same port steel ingots came from. If we hook up another drone from third port, outputs would be taken to both 1st and 3rd port, potentially making a mess. Can we setup one drone between 2 ports to pick and offload goods only in one direction? I always thought drone automatically moves items both ways without option to change it. Am I wrong here? (Edit: I just played with drone ports and didn't figure out how to daisy chain them without sending items to two other ports.) I built Battery factory in that area as well, but providing just right amount of water was always not enough, had to add much more water and sink excess. Then sulfur miner was mining 780/min and chugging the line even though last 2 refineries were stalling as they did not get enough sulfur. That factory is nightmare to run at 100% Thanks for video, I was wondering what are you cooking after few short videos :)

I'll tell you something that I've been having trouble wrapping my head around. Multiple factory management. When I do a playthrough, for some reason I love the hyper efficient, only-build-what-you-need way of doing it. But I want to go bigger and spread things out. Instead of building just 10 Modular Frames/min that I know I'll need later, why not go for 20 of even 25? However, how do you manage all the factories? If I have one steel factory making 1000 steel ingots a minute or something, how do you know how to send out the product to other factories? Do you make the pipes/beams there, or just send out the ingots to have them made locally at the other factory? If you have two separate factories requesting items from one factory, how do you split them up between the trains/trucks? I hope that wasn't too convoluted.

Hi, what's the Alt recipe you're using for the Aluminium Scrap to Aluminium Ingots? Because the normal recipe requires Silicon combined with Aluminium Scrap in a Foundry and not a Smelter to make Aluminium Ingots.

Just watched this and went looking for newer videos where you expand on the central drone base...and Don't see any. I guess when Update 6 came out you started a new world? Do you plan to re-create this on Update 6? I'm hoping to see how you design your drone logistics.

So a drone can drop off and NOT pick up? Is it possible to have a drone pick up and drop off? Like bottled hydrogen and empties.

Is there a bug that drone suddenly consuming too much battery? I have a battery factory producing 60 batteries pre min at 100% efficiency, which to support 5~6 drones. For the information provided in game, there are using about 20 batteries pre min, so I should have no problem in supporting the drones. At the beginning I keep on checking the drone port, all the drones are doing well and the batteries are stocking up. I think it works perfect so I leave and going out to do another thing. After 4~5 hours I found that my production line was down because there were no batteries in the drone port. Since I am producing 60 batteries per min it is impossible for the drone to consume all the batteries. I checked the batteries factory and it works perfectly at 100% efficiency , so I back to drone port and suddenly everything seems back to normal and the batteries are filling in the drone and stocking up again. However after running a few hours later it happened again, it is so confusing and I have to stop using drone until I found out the reason.

Not entirely correct. Individual trains can be set up to discriminate what items they pick up from train stations. So, using your example, one train could drop off steel ingots, they would be processed and then another train could come in and pick up the steel pipes and beams that were made. So in that way trains can behave like drones in that respect.
