you are right, it does look much easier in the video than in real life. I guess the lesson is to film the entire process so that you can reverse it when putting it back together.

So, you're saying that's made by Gottlieb? I have the exact same unit (x10) in a Playmatic "made in Spain" EM. Do you think Playmatic imported the units from Gottlieb?

I'm convinced that Spanish manufacturers made machines under licence from the US companies because of political boycotts aimed at Franco. Business is business.

Nice video. My 9-drop target bank in Card Whiz was not able to make the targets latch in place on the reset, so in examining it I found one of the nylon bearings on the shaft was broken and the reset bar return spring was also broken. I think the forces on a 9 or 10 drop target mechanism creates more wear with the two big reset coils really slamming the targets into position on reset. Have you experienced need to replace the nylon bearings (bushings) and the return spring on the larger drop targets? Fortunately replacement parts are available in USA. Where do you go for pin parts in South Africa? Nice to see your Spirit of 76, must be pretty rare in SA. Cheers. 🙂

I've replaced the Nylon bushings a few times. I get my spares from the US. Postage is a bitch.
