A big contributing factor of butt pain and discomfort comes from a build up of stress, tension, and tightness in muscles that can lead to painful strain and inflammation.
This video will keep it simple by fixing weakness and tightness in the main muscles that cause pain in this area, especially the glutes and piriformis.
Each exercise works a little differently. To get the best results, go through them all and use what gives you the most pain relief.
As a bonus, all of these exercises can be done at home and require no equipment.

FAST question doc: each time o stand up straigh for a period of time a have numbness in my right cusdriceps I used a foam roller a year ago and then that start it, you know what should I do?

Holy sh*t ….. I have been suffering with sciatica and piriformis pain for over seven years, therapy, injections, acupuncture, medication. Nothing seemed to really help but these exercises which they never really did in therapy actually helped me to feel better within the first time running through this. I’m hoping it’s going to be more permanent but we will see. I actually feel a good blood flow/stretch sensation in my legs and lower back, I can’t thank you enough.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

@@magic.weaver I started these is just days before I arrived in Aruba for vacation and I am actually doing them right now, it definitely helps to loosen up the piriformis… Unfortunately, I still may need to go for injections because it is also affecting the sciatic nerve. But I will say, if you really do these stretching exercises and do the repetitions you will feel relief… Hoping for a more pain-free vacation now

I have trouble doing the’ next level’ exercises. The other ones I already do. Eighteen months ago, before my injury I could do anything I wanted. After injury, I could not even put my socks or shoes on. My physiotherapist just told me I’m free to try what I want to try. Thank you. I will add the ‘next level’ ones to my morning stretching routine before I get out of bed. They do help. I ‘plan’ to go hiking in the bush this summer.

🙏💪Dr. Rowe. About a month ago my healing started with this video. Each day I picked one of your videos. Also adjusted my diet, supplements and cardio. Today marks the day that I am fully painfree!!!! And my brain is kicked into a calm state 😊 So happy perseverance still pays off in today's world.

Added soft tissue massage and reflex points for the Psoas muscle to the mix. Loving it, so relaxing. As well as foot reflex massage of areas related.

Love your videos! Recently diagnosed with mild scoliosis and am under chiropractic care, which has helped tremendously. The figure 4 exercises help me the the most with my stubborn pirifomis and hamstring issues.

I have endured horrific pain for 3 months with doctors telling me I have arthritis (without investigation) when I knew it was the muscles.After months of suffering I googled my symptoms (despite the doctors saying don't use doctor Google) and realised my intincts were right. I found your site while searching for tinnitus help. I have had tinnitus since I had a severe head injury when I was 8 years old. That was 52 years ago. I have severe tinnitus and memory problems as well I'm praying this helps my problems.

I'm sorry. I hope this might be of help to you. I have had tinnitus and it does come back every now and again. I thought it was my ear was damaged or liquid stuck in my ear my or inner ear deformed and the sound bending around it and making that sound. From what I can tell, it turns out it's related to lack of working out, cardio (bloodflow) and tightness in the jaw and around the ear and neck. Tightness would also be in your mouth. So the answer there is to massage the inside of your mouth and on the outside near your ear and your jaw. Same goes for your neck and traps. It's all connected. I hope that helps you.

Ok… you are doing things for me that no one has ever done. And that is *really* saying something. I am scheduled to get a second lower lumbar injection tomorrow because my first ones a month and a half ago didn’t work, but now I almost feel as if I don’t need the shot tomorrow. Wow.

I deal with this type of tightness and pain occasionally. These stretches seem to help a lot and quickly. I've found that hitting the glutes and hip flexors with a message gun is the most effective at quickly eliminating pain and tension. It's like night and day after just 30 seconds.

I suffer from SI Joint dysfunction and my last injection stopped working! Somehow I strained my rt glute today. It hurt so bad I was having a hard time breathing! I put my tens unit in with Heat, still no relief. Then I found this video. God bless you! The first 2 exercises did the trick. I sure appreciate all you do to help us old farts! 😂

I just found your page...the highlighted area on the first page is identical where I have this horrible pain...I had a right hip replacement in Feb 2018 and am having problems for at least 3 years now. Had xrays several times ... the new hip is ok according to these xrays, so my question is it safe to try these exercises. Hoping to hear from you soon, thanks.

I’ve just come across your exercises . I have long covid which I have muscle leg in my legs and a great deal of of pain in my bum as well so can I do this and normal exercise as well or should I I just concentrate on the bum area first to make things less painful for my seft

I am 5 months post posterior total right hip replacement.. hip feels great but both sides of my butt HURT .. I went to PT for 2 months and only got worse .. they said it’s part of process of body recovering .. some of these exercises they taught me .. others are new I’m going to do them everyday.. I hope it gives me some relief

I've been working on hip flexor and glutes for months. Years of sitting and little activity, started walking and developed worsening l hip pain (thr on R, it's good). I get STUCK in agonizing pain in groin/deep pelvic trochanter pain when I rise from a sit to a stand. Have to maneuver to floor onto hands and knees and rock that femoral head out. No clue what exercises might be helping or hurting, never see this complaint on videos. Help??

I'm awaiting a long wait for MRI with the VA here in Kansas. I tried your movements, and it made it worse. When I'm working the pain is a 3-4 level. At night after sitting down for an hour or so, I can barely get off couch without extreme sharp pain 9-10 almost dropping me to the floor. Numbness in left foot when standing too long as well. I'm 46, never been injured or experienced pain like this. Any recommendations please!

I’m a Physical Therapist and my patient just had a right total hip replacement, anterior approach. This means NO right hip extension for 6-8 weeks; she is 10 days post op. I’m not sure she can get into a figure of 4 stretch or full bridge. Rock the baby may work and hydrants may work if she can tolerate that position. Any other ways to deal with right piriformis tightness/pain?

Finally got my back adjusted but no more sciatica pain but my buttok muscle feels sore . Tennis ball and stretching helped a lot. Now I have to get MRI on my knee for inner joint that sticks out more than right knee. I got hit playing football when I was a kid and heard a pop so I think that's what caused it

I have a knee issue going on that until now noticing because I bent over how I always do to tie my shoes . But this time I got stiff in the back . Went to Chiro and my two points/joints in low back one was lowered then the other . Causing my sciatica to be pinched . My knee played a role in all this because my right knee is fine but my left knee seems to not allow me to squat as I'd like to. Now I need to get a MRI on my knee joint
