My Turmeric is from India. My cinnamon is from Ceylon and I also have cassia cinnamon from Vietnam . I have oregano both from Greece and Mexico, as well as an organic general brand. I have a few varieties of rosemary but fresh is best for many preparations since it’s tough when dried. I use a few types of black (and white) pepper and always combine some with the turmeric (I love black pepper).. I looove thyme, basil, chives all of them. I have to be careful of over seasoning I love herbs and spices so much.

I would agree, but with this now-known caveat: many spices, among those that she msntioned, have extremely high levels of chemicals or metals that can be very harmful, especially if used regularly and over time ( 'organic' make work, but not always a guarantee and also buying from small, local farmers make work if you talk with them about their growing methods). US govt agencies do not check for these substances. There are some labs that will do honest, 3rd party testing (Brighteon - The Health Ranger is one). So make sure of the purity of spices. Also, try to grow your own - not that hard to do!

Dr Susan Brown. Love all your videos ❤. Ive been doing heavy weights with a trainer for ,5 months now . My bone density has gone up one and a half percent. But my Fragility score has gone up!!! I Want the fragility score to go down. Someone said it will take time as old bone takes a bit longer to repair. Is that true??? Thank you.
@DrSusanBrown
@DrSusanBrown Ай бұрын
It sounds like you're really dedicated to improving your health through strength training, which is great! Seeing an increase in your bone density is a positive sign, showing that your bones are responding to the exercise. Regarding your fragility score, it's important to understand that while strength training can increase bone density, changes in bone quality and the reduction in fragility can indeed take more time. Your trainer is correct in saying that bone remodeling-the process where old bone tissue is replaced by new bone tissue-can take a while. This process is essential for improving the overall strength and resilience of your bones. The increase in your fragility score might be temporary or could be influenced by factors other than just bone density, such as changes in bone structure or even the methodology used for scoring. It’s a good idea to keep in consistent communication with your healthcare provider about your exercise regimen and any supplements or dietary changes you're making to support your bone health. Over time, with continued effort and proper guidance, you should see improvements in your overall bone health, including a potential decrease in your fragility score. Keep up the great work and patience!

Try using a couple of these spices each day. Tips for Incorporation: Curcumin: Add turmeric to curries, soups, or smoothies. Consider taking a curcumin supplement with black pepper extract. Cinnamon: Sprinkle on oatmeal, yogurt, or incorporate into baking recipes. Ginger: Use fresh ginger in teas, smoothies, or as a spice in cooking. Oregano: Add to salads, pasta dishes, or marinades. Rosemary: Use in roasted vegetables, soups, or as a seasoning for meats. While these herbs and spices are beneficial, it's important to remember that a balanced Alkaline diet, rich in a variety of nutrients, is crucial for bone health. Additionally, ensure adequate intake of calcium, vitamin D, magnesium, Vitamin C and other essential nutrients, and consider weight-bearing exercises as part of a holistic approach to maintaining strong bones. :) Thanks for watching!
