For a hard rocking band that can make your ears have to run to keep up. They really do ballads really well. Lovely sound and it is the little extras, that work so well. The instruments support but never drown. Great piece of music.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING BAND ON THIS OR ANY OTHER PLANET! AND AKANE IS MY DRUM GODDESS. I am a 70 year old jazz fusion prog rock drummer. Tony Williams is still my drum god but Akane constantly amazes me from the moment I first heard her (March 3rd, 2019 at 3pm😍) THESE LADIES HAVE REIGNITED MY LOVE FOR GREAT MUSIC. THEY ARE THE BEATLES OF THIS ERA

This song is Miku & Saiki's way of saying thank you to all the fans who came to see them on their U.S. tour, specifically all the positive energy & Love they felt ! ❤️🎙🎸🥁😎🤘 and of course music by Kanami, who wrote the music while on tour.

I never looked up the full lyrics but i could definitely feel the 'thank you' energy from it. It didn't feel as sad as it did contemplative and grounded

*BAND-MAID* wrote this song while on their 2022 US tour and they were so moved on how much fan support they received; because they did not really know what to expect after not playing live for 3 years. January 9th 2023 *BAND-MAID* first introduce this song as part of a concert they did at TOKYO GARDEN THEATER *Happy 10 Year Anniversary BAND-MAID* 🥳🎉 _(May the next 10 years bring you happiness and joy)_ Kanpai!!!!!

Akane is one of the few drummers who due to her style of drumming should be considered not just a drummer but a percussionist. Neil Peart, Phil Collins, Sib Hashian are other drummers who are also percussionists. They make their instruments sing to us in ways that other can't. From their unique styles of playing to their choices in what they play in a song.

Agreed. Her flow is so smooth and full of unique flavor. Mick Fleetwood is another i put into that category with the ones you listed. Just pure skill and love

One of the many reasons that listening to Band Maid is rewarding. They didn't have to write a thank you song to their fans, but they did and so we get this utter delight.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 This was filmed in USA without doubt. I can't figure out how they found the time-frame to film this in the dreary desert during their busy US-tour. Miku, that cute strategist, must have hidden a drone in one of her guitar cases 😄. And camera crew, too 🤣 (Probably it was filmed in between TLRS shows in NY and LA early February). According to Uta-Net info, the lyrics by "Miku Kobato - Saiki". You know there is a wave in an actual concert : high and low, hot and cool, excitement and calmness. At Tokyo Garden Theater on Jan.9, "Memorable" was premiered after "About Us" . These two songs soothed the audience emotion (I was there 😍) ... and then boom!! "Manners" 😲. What a versatility !

About Us is a song about being sorry they can't play for the .asters and Princesses. This is about how happy they are about the response the M's and P's gave them on the US tour in October 2022
