Weird. When I use purple amulet, i'm quickly being mobbed by 5 or 6 of these things to the point where I can't actually beat them.

I believe that the amount of nightmares that spawn correlates to the amount of players nearby. The more players nearby, the more nightmares.

Yeah i watch people use nightmare amulet. They just kill them one by one. When i use it it suddenly spawns 5-6 nightmare creature in 5 seconds and i cant kite them.

So one nightmare amulet + your time = 30 nightmare fuel, annexing the gold cost because it is too easily renewable means that a purple gem is worth 13 nightmare fuel each after taking out the orginial four nightmare fuel cost. *Not worth it*

In the ruins you get a ton of purple gems from broken clockwork bishops, but you could just eat some glommers goop/greencaps and hold a dark sword to go insane
