One of my favorites of all time. The lyrics are some of the most poignant ever. Check out Irene Karl’s version. . I love hearing the inner melodic lines, the unexpected chord progressions. . A stunning arrangement

Lovely and inventive piano solo. And a great tilt to their live version’s ending 🎶 👏🏻

One of the best of his albums and it's REALLY good, here. These arrangements are spectacular! You won't be on this planet, if you listen but he'll bring you back. Wow! (Jim in Portland. LOTS of fans here!)

isn't this a beautiful song. Written by D. Frishberg, who died last week.

Johnny Mandel wrote the music, and asked Dave Frishberg to write a lyric for it. Dave told the story of giving Johnny the lyric, and having him say, “Nice. Now go back and give me a better one.” The second lyric is gorgeous, by the way. Here’s Dave’s gloriously non-singer singing of his lyric: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/odN1itaJv8mXfJ8.html
