You got the best little helper in the world with you. I love that you collect cans. I been collecting cans since the 60s. Nice coper score at the new building. I remember the days when I was out scrapping up a few bucks in cans and bottles. It is very manly of you to share. Super good video.

Good treasure hunt there. Me and my wife took over 1,000lbs (U.S.) of shred the other day to the yard and made $102 (U.S.). It could have been better, but any money is better than no money

It's fun doing this with the kids. Drew and I haven't put up a video in awhile due to lack of scrap in my area. However, it's the adventure with the children that make ut a fun day. Great vid, Thub. Keep doin the thing!

Ya know . . . you are just such a lovely person, and it's so nice that you are showing Wub how to be one too. His hair has gotten gorgeous! I'd kill for that hair. It looks like that horrid hail didn't get as far south as you, so I hope you have a super remainder of this really weird summer.

Just stopped by my daughter’s elementary school she will be attending….they had a dumpster full of old computers tv monitors battery backups…then my buddy who is a teacher said they put in for new electronics at all three schools

That saris thing it to use on a girls bike to put on a bike carrier for the vehicle. One end in the seat post other to the stem. Makes a top tube to hang. Love the vid all around ✌️ Thub Life

10:34 - the deposit bottle actually thrown back. There were several deposit containers down in there. Could have still done those. First priority is to get as much as possible of that white cord but the bottles could have gone in with the aluminium cans previously procured.

The Saris item is a bike adapter for car racks. Around $50 USD new. If it cleans up I get $20 locally all day for those. More if it’s Thule or Yakima.

That cast iron looked to be sprinkler pipe and fittings, usually made of carbon steel or ductile iron, good and heavy steel/iron product.

Its kind of funny but your voice is constantly in my head any time im taking something apart roadside "leave it better then you found it" because of you i never leave a mess for somebody else to clean up. (especially screws etc. but that may be because i've had to patch my tires so much that i despise people who leave nails and screws around) every time i come across some electronic that obviously has had the cord clipped already, after being pissed off i think of your video where you related it to walking up to a cake, eating the strawberries and using your finger to swipe the frosting. no you technically didn't ruin the cake but you make it unappetizing for anybody else. thanks for all the tips. keep up the good work

Glad you're still going. Steel has hit $0.02 a pound here. People aren't scrapping anything. And with gas over $3 a gallon it's not worth doing it.

How come you didn't take the fan, and the brass bit on the hose? In the UK price for stainless went from £1.67 ppkg to 67ppkg Hugh drop.

1100 pounds of shred got me $33 US. It barely paid for the gas to bring it down. Instead of gas prices up and scrap prices down, why can’t we have scrap prices up and gas prices down?

😆 no worries there! If the glass was broken it would’ve been in the scrap pile but it made it home safely and is all cleaned up and looking excellent 👌

Sell that stainless sink, don't scrap it. Restaurant gear has doubled in price in the last 4 months, and wait times are through the roof. Throw that up on kijiji, with the new giant farmer's market opening next week, rumor has it lots of vendors are still waiting on their stainless and won't make it in time.

I don't like destruction of any kind and wrecking a bunch of cans (that if you'd even just left in the dumpster for someone else to find or put near another one) seems immature and excessive. You've filmed yourself eating and drinking worse shit. Do better.
