I remember being knocked out only once in my life, when I was like 12 or something. It felt like I was out for an eternity but my friend was like: "it was like 15 seconds". Such a strange feeling
@Craigv932 жыл бұрын
Really? When I was 15 yo I took a head hit in hockey and was knocked out cold for several seconds. I never even realized it and thought everyone was messin with me.

I remember waking up immediately but in a different location. We was playing street hockey my cousin rocks me and I wake up in his bed. It felt like a long blink to me.

I got knocked out in hockey. You literally sit there knocked out fully aware in complete blackness and then ripped back into reality. Felt like ten years but was only about a minute

It really is strange. I found coming back to reality slightly weird. One minute I'm cutting the blue line, next I find myself sprawled out on the ice.

I wonder if this kind of thing will lead to the boards being modified to have some flexibility. Something rigid enough to not change how the puck moves around the ice, but something that will reduce the trauma of sliding into them at speed. Of course, that's like the helmet debate in the NFL - the more protection players have (or perceive they have) the more reckless they are.
