Glad to see some dwarves rocking it out. Just a question if I may. Do you see any use for gyrobomber instead of gyrocopters?

I don't see any use for them competitively, not because they are bad but because regular gyrocopters are so good and only 80pts.

Thanks. Yes I like both formats. Seeing all the dice rolls is nice when you’re learning the game but gets a bit tedious after a while. The stills allow for better storytelling

Your opponents army looks very familiar - he also had such bad luck with artillery when I played him too, cannon blew up turn 1.

Nice game! It looks like those GW Dwarf warriors maybe wouldn't have been able to charge into the combat in the middle. It looked like the majority of their front rank was in the spearmens front arc so they would've had to charge their front, which they couldn't fit into! One of those odd, annoying parts of the rules where it looks like you should be able to charge but actually can't! Otherwise a nice little game :)

Yes good spot, we forgot about that! I suppose they could have reformed / moved sideways while they were waiting..

@@d6wounds I think the sideways slide is a 6th rule that got dropped for 8th

@@radhanisthebold562 In 8th units can move backwards or sideways at half movement rounded up, so they could have moved sideways 2 inches..

Wonder if you can help - looking for the bald Dwarf with the axe, fifth from right in GW horde - can't find him in citadel catalogues anywhere, don't suppose you know the year or the tab code?

Yes, search for Colin Dixon Norse Dwarfs. There were only 5 of them I believe..
