i have an idea how you could add a lil extra weight without really changing much, i noticed the lip of the yoyo has a flat surface, you could add a type of groove for either a plastic/rubber/metal O ring something you might be able to find or make out of another printed material, weigh the yoyo with those pieces without adding them on an ounce scale, its just an idea

just finished mine. printed both halfs in about 4-5 hours overall, fitted all parts, and it works much better than expected. awesome concept

People in our neighborhood are giving away old scooters left and right, been thinking bout picking some up just for the bearings to do some 3d printing tinkering with. This would be a great use of them tbh :D

That's cool! What about printing a little rounded bowl, filling the yo-yo sides almost to the brim with hot glue, and pressing the bowl into the hot glue to shape it and squeeze it upward to the brim, in order to make the yo-yo heavier? Put a handle on the bowl to take it off.

I downloaded an STL of your hotdog as a counterweight that I want to use with a hot diggity. You should design some counterweights, that's where the real game is at. Custom DD weights are really lacking in the 3dp community.
