I put the wrong year on the pictures you guys 🤦🏾‍♀️ it’s definitely supposed to be November ‘18 and December ‘18 then January ‘19 through October ‘19. I started my locs October 5, 2018. *note to self don’t edit at 1 am.*

I was ready say u look real familiar u went to the same loctitians I went to for my first SL set in 2018...I did the same tho went there for a yr then started to maintain mines after im on my second set now tho GL wit ya journey love

When you said you cut your locs, I gasped!! I combined for the same reason as you, but I used a crochet hook to combine them so they wouldn’t be 2 headed locs. Thank you for sharing your update with us! ❤️

Yea mine wouldn’t have looked right if I did the crochet method on them and I combined so many that I decided it was best for me to cut one off.

🌺🌻🌺🌻🌺🌻🌺🌻🌺🌻🌺🌻 Wow! You're hair is so beautiful! Our loc journeys have similarities. I combined my locs from 258 down to 190. And, I will probably combine a few more with neighboring locs. Also, I started out interlocking; but switched to palm rolling a couple of months back. The very thin loc look isnt what I thought I wanted. Plus, I'm terrible with interlocking. I was interlocking locs together like crazy.😂🤷🏾‍♀️ 🌺🌻🌺🌻🌺🌻🌺🌻🌺🌻🌺🌻

🥰 yea I definitely realized that I wanted my locs to be thicker but luckily we started small so we had that option. Right now I’m good with the size I’m at but who knows how I’ll feel in the future lol and I like interlock but palm rolling definitely gives the thicker look.

Do you prefer retwist or interlocking? Beautiful locs! I’ve heard you should stick with one method to prevent weakness within the loc. Thoughts? New subscriber.

I prefer interlocking it last much longer. I don’t interlock or retwist my hair so I won’t cause thinning but I think I’ll mostly stick with interlocking because of the size of my locs. Thank you for subscribing! 💕

Thank you!! I think they’re about a 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch. I really don’t know because I didn’t measure or use a grid I just freehand the install. And I’ve also combined some since then.

Do you moisturize throughout the week - between your washes? What do you use?

Yes I moisturize whenever my hair needs it at least try to do it once or twice a week. And I use the spray bottle with water and oils I showed in this video.

How do you handle frizz? I started my Locs with two strand twists in Dec. 2019 and I'm trying to figure out the friz.

My locs were very frizzy during the first year but that’s normal. I still have a bit of frizz but as they mature it will start to decrease. Locs will always have some frizz. In my first year I just spritzed my hair with water and used a hair oil and twirled my loc in my fingers to try to reduce the appearance of the frizz some.

What interlocing rotation do you use? 2, 3 or 4 point?

I’ve used all of them honestly. But I depends on how much new growth I have when I do my hair.
