I say 2.3 vs 5.0, I get back tire because I have oem steel hood and pump gas, you got carbon hood and q16 😊. Oh, and 479

Unrelated, your .02 on a Ron Francis wiring harness, or adapt factory harness from said ranger? In process of 88tc swap into ranger.

I wouldn’t call this a guess. Weather will not be your friend. You’ll run 489.6 rwhp exactly. the ambient temp will be 89 degrees with a DA of 2743 and 122 water grains. You’re welcome😂

Your timing belt guide for the Lima engines was very nice. I'd buy a Lima 2.3 t shirt - I have a bunch of exploded diagrams for my 86 ranger that look sweet. Thanks from the owner of one of these junky old Fords with the metric engine no one likes :)

@@2300gearjammer I used your own description. It's very strange, because the 2.3 is a good engine - cast iron all around and not too hard to service. I come from the Volvo world, so 2.3 cast iron block 4 cyls are venerated, but not so much for domestics..

Ha nope. No spray for that and it was a 146ish pass that I stayed on the throttle a tad late so I'm calling that 150ish. Lol

@@craigmccall7450 yep. All the same parts except the trans. The current version is faceplated. Those passes were with the old proshifted one that was hell to try to keep in 3rd gear. Once I started turning boost up a little bit would pop out if gear
