Fuck exclusives. I have an xbone for my kids, and it's handy to use it for Netflix Stan and KZfaq, DVDs. My boys are getting into PC games more as they get older, which means we fight over the PC more, used to be mine alone. It's good to see a pre teen playing RTS instead of boom headshot constantly. But playing games on a console exclusively, fuck that. Paying for the privilege of playing online alone is a deal breaker, and as for exclusives, the PC has thousands of games consoles that will never be on a console.

Is it just me or are third party AAA titles becoming too fucking similar aesthetically and in terms of genre? It's as if variety has been overtaken by FPS and third person shooters in terms of PR. Sure, there are fighting games and RPG'S once in a while, but man, it's absolutely lame what gaming has seemingly become. So much so that most games can't even get a 90 on metacritic. The only new games this year that got above 90 are Zelda BOTW and Persona 5, which aren't even games trying to impress graphically like gamers "care about". Hah.

Metro: Exodus got me pretty hard. The new Dragonball game also looks neat

I agree Fringy. The announcement of two Metroid games was very welcome. I am really looking forward to Samus Returns on my 3DS. It seems like a return to form after the likes of Other M and Federation Force. The thing I appreciated the most about Nintendo's conference was the number of titles shown that are actually coming this year (barring any unfortunate delays). Odyssey does look fantastic. It was a complete surprise to see the Mario and Rabbids game. I never really liked the Rabbids but the gameplay looks so similar to X-com/Disgaea. The PC conference was a letdown, despite Total War: Warhammer 2 looking nice. Bethesda's only game that I really had interest in (beyond Skyrim for Switch) was Wolfenstein 2. I think EA had a missed opportunity by not showing Visceral's Star Wars game. MS's conference was kind of a fizzle too. I had hoped Scalebound might be resurrected. But owning a PC I saw little reason to buy an Xbox console let alone a $500 one. I also seem to recall Phil Spencer saying "No one gets left behind..." unless of course you have Windows 8.1 and not 10. If I wanted to play the sequel to Ori for instance? I would need to upgrade to Windows 10 which I have no intention of doing anytime soon. Cuphead still looks fantastic. Spiderman did look very nice and it may incentivize me to pick up a PS4 along with games like Horizon and Uncharted 4 which are already out.

Nintendo KILLED it without a doubt. They perfected the E3 formula. I prefer short pre made videos over an awkward conference where literally anything can go wrong. As for the worst, by far EA. Their presentation was literally everything I hate about E3 presentations. KZfaqrs that no actual gamers take seriously to try to be hip, filler all over the place, and that prankster that tried to talk about some car game that I don''t give a shit about and failed miserably.

Actually the new monster hunter game was by far the most exciting for me and I found its announcement highly underrated , it is the first time the series has been on consoles that weren't the ds or psp, not to mention the first time it is coming to PC, to a MH fan and PC exlusive gamer this is like a dream come true.

I'm really happy about nintendo's announcements recently. Their launch lineup was admittedly shit and there wasn't much at first but they've kept me consistently excited ever since. I'll have so much to buy for my switch when christmas hits

There are three things that make a good conference: New games, showing game play, and having a release date. That's why I think Ubisoft and Nintendo had the best conferences.

I think that Microsoft conference was pretty good cause most of the games (hell all of the games) announced there will be multiplatforms. I mean I will not buy a xbox one for Anthem or Crackdown 3. Nintendo have the best conference but to be fair not a lot of their games interested me and Sony conference is just bad with most announcements are either DLCs, Remakes or more extra footage of announced games. The PC one is pretty solid too though it's felt unprofessional at time but some of the game looks very interesting (mostly indie games).

The only game I was interested in at E3 was Sea of Thieves for the PC, was super excited to see it wasn't going to be a port, but developed along side the console version. As for the rest of E3 it was a joke.

Bethesda's conference wasn't necessarily as good as say, Nintendo's as a conference, but the games I think took the cake. Wolfenstein II and the Dishonored standalone looked fantastic, and I'm (healthily) anticipating their release. Just saying.

To me that xboxxxx console won e3 just because they put backward xbox OG compatibility on it. also i love pc gaming at 144hrz but im not a fanboy of it. some stuff does suck like the day one ports and online communities in some games. being able to trade old shitty games in and not having wires take over the living room is a plus too. of course i dont think stuff such as heavy multiplayer games such as teh player unknown battlegrounds will work on a console. for most part yeah pc master race but console at least fits in there somewhere as a minor supplement ( that's what she said!). :)

I'm really disappointed at Bethesda. I and many others thought that a new Elder Scrolls game would be unveiled, but what did they reveal instead? Fallout 4 VR! Because that game wasn't widely regarded as utter bollocks. Can't wait for next year's E3. I can't wait for Skyrim. Special Edition VR and Minecraft in 8K.

i think that E3 sucked because gamers thought big games were going to be show up at conferences and briefings.Considering Last Year Was a huge year for gamers because they showed God Of War,Last Of Us Part 2,Spider Man and Death stranding last year on Sony Press Conference. Xbox and Ubisoft's Press Conferences were the best this year because they showed a few new gamers that arriving . However, At The Xbox Conference , they forced the 4k abilities on stage like it was new. When we know that there is a 8k monitor by DELL.Consoles Should stop pushing 4k because the console cannot handle 4k.We can do is wait until All of are consoles become PCs. They're running 4k but 20-30 fps.Minimum they should be hitting 50-60 fps tops.Its going to run like crap because the console cannot handle the heat from the fan heat. I can respect Rockstar for Releasing Grand theft auto 5 on PC Later because they can have more time spent on Red Dead Redemption 2 and Improve and expel at the performance. I personally don't see the point of E3 as something video game companies should bother with. Maybe new systems, but beyond that, you can livestream gameplay on a variety of sites and if you are just gonna put out trailers, put em all out at once and script the fuck out of things. When it sounds like the audience of an Enya concert at a major company's presentation, you done fucked up. All I gotta say is I am totally gonna have a booth at E3 when I finish this game I am making.

*Nintendo* won this E3? First off, once again, they werent there, unlike the other companies. Seriously, it was basically another Nintendo Direct. Nintendo knows that only fanboys would give a shit about their stuff, and they wouldnt fill a whole lot of seats(its no wonder Miyamoto was in Ubisoft's E3 Press Conference, and that X-COM for babies game......I mean, that Mario & Rabbids game was shown there. I know that game is worked on by Ubisoft too, but its a Switch-only title anyway, it shouldve been shown only on Nintendo's conference). Secondly, the majority of their games are once again the same old, milked to death 1st Party games we've seen since childhood. Mario, Kirby and Yoshi, in other news, water makes you yet. Nintendo needs to do what Sony does with their old IPs, give them a break every now & then, and make new IPs in the meantime. And before anyone mentions that we had a break from Metroid, Nintendo pulled a Konami with that IP, they sat on it for so long. There's a difference between giving a title a break, and holding it back even though fans want it. Just like Konami's IPs, I dont care about Metroid anymore, because the only reason a Metroid Prime 4 coming around *now,* is because of Nintendo's reliance on nostalgia. Thats the only reason. They keep cashing in on the past, because thats all they have anymore(which is why they'll never give all their old games a break, and make new IPs). They'll never get with the times, they'll never stop shoving stupid gimmicks down our throats. They'll keep milking the past, and really, never make new games. ARMS doesnt count, its just a gimmicky Punch-Out. And Splatoon's main idea, is just a rehash of Mario Sunshine's main game mechanic. Pikmin was the last actual new game Nintendo made. Nintendo doesnt try to be better than Sony & MS. In fact, they stopped doing that after the GameCube. Sony though, they're the ones that won E3, again. The majority of their exclusives are new, while the one game thats from the past, is Shadow Of Colussus Remake. VR headsets actually work, so it was nice to see more games for PSVR. Oh, and I liked how Sony just cut to the chase when they showed their games, there wasnt a whole lot of talking in between, like the other conferences. Seriously, is anyone else sick of that? Just show the games, and only have talking part if a console is being revealed.
