In old age several types of diseases like High blood pressure, Heart disease, Diabetes, Joint pain, Digestive problems, and many more diseases create problem in human life. Thus old age is very crucial for everybody. In old age our bodily organs become slow. Joint pain and lack of muscular control is very common problem in old age. So it becomes very important to take care of our body in old age. Yoga can play a very important role for this purpose. There are some gentle yoga practices which can make senior citizens fit and healthy.
It is not easy for a senior citizen to join gym or to go for a health run. We see that many of senior citizens do not practice any type of workout for their fitness. This is a major cause for their health problems. Yoga can make a big change in the life of senior citizens. Because in Yoga there are many easy practices which are designed very scientifically. These will increase the blood circulation in the body. These will also make the muscles strong and will increase the control over these muscles. As a result one can feel the increased pranic energy level in the body. The joints will be loose the stiffness in the body will be less. So there will be swiftness in the body organs.
Even the very easy and simple yogic warm up can make a big change to increase the fitness level.
So I will suggest all the senior citizens to make yoga as an important part of their daily life.
