I always thought your hand made stamps were carved out of linoleum. The foam is so much simpler and approachable. Thanks for this, Barbara!

I'm in Fodder School right now and learned to make rubber stamps in the November class with DeeDee Catron. I'm seeing stamps everywhere now! So cool! I love your trees so much. Trees are my thing. Your page turned out great! Love that happy accident with the spilled coffee dyed and distress oxide - and 3 layers even! You make me smile so much when you giggle at yourself! Love you, Girl!❤

I'm so happy to learn how you've created all your stamps💥💥👍👏! When you've shown them before, I thought they may be made from hand carved blocks🙄. Especially love this awesome tree Barbara! "She believed she could" Der erste Erfolg!! Not only did you believe you could make your own stamps and had success but you have self taught yourself everything and had the courage and belief to start your home business! Love your idea! I’ve used my metal cutting dies and my big shot. I’ll cut the foam with my dies then glue them to cardboard. I use them on my gel plate. Never thought to use them in a journal page for some reason. Thanks!

I saved my paper towel that I used to wipe up my watercolor brushes with and it's great I will check how many ply sheets there are.One time I spilled some berry juice and saved that paper towel. Thank you for all you do

Oh boy a new thing to try in the new year!! Loved your tree. It seems all crafters are drawn to a “favorite “ thing such as birds or butterflies. For me it’s trees so am eager to give it a try.

Super pretty sweetie 💕 those kind of trees are my favourite too. The yellow 💛 is so much like sunshine from behind the tree. And then those Sundays in the other page. Gorgeous. I learned something new, that foam rubber is so easy to use and gives beautiful results 😍 big hug sweetie

When my kids were young I used to make stamps from the foam that comes with packaged food from the deli at my grocery store. (Baked goods, cookies, that kind of thing.....although I wouldn't use it if it was meat-packing). Worked great and was free.

Wonderful design and I think you've given me the courage to try and make a tree stamp. I've always loved yours. We have finally moved into our new house in Texas and as soon as we find all of our dishes so we can eat, I will work on my craft room so I can play!

Thanks for sharing!! I'm definitely going to try this!! If you want to make word stamps just use your tracing paper to draw/write what you like and then turn it over to get the reverse image. Use that side for your original. I do this to transfer on clay. 😊💜

Happy New Year and Happy return to Junk Journal Videos! I love what cleaning up that spill did to the Paper Towels. I didn’t realize there were 3 layers. The way the inks and color stuff spread out as it dried, it ended up looking like a beautiful sunset. When you had them all glued down, one cool effect from that was that it was see-through. So much fun!! Can’t wait to try both the homemade stamps and the paper towel ink stains. Lol♥️♥️♥️

Oh an owl I'm not scared of and I was wanting Egyptian stamps too!!! You can also die cut from foam but definitely trying this way too as don't have Egyptian dies and the hand drawn look is cool 😎. 🙊 you do make me giggle 🙊. Awesome new design😍 I like the curvy lines. Cool wicking on your mop up paper😍. I love how you use yellow, I can never get it to look right 🙈. Great idea 💡. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖

Trees are my absolute favorite thing to draw in every journal I've made. Acorns are my totem. Problem is,like nature, no 2 of mine are alike. You made making that stamp look easy enough for us to do. Thanks for sharing Barbara. Yours is gorgeous.
