I played a guy who tried to disrespect by promoting 2 bishops and ended up stalemating me with 3 bishops.

This is why you always make sure one of your pawns survive. Bishop pair or bishop/knight checkmate is rare but when it happens you going to wish you've learn this technique.

I have literally never been in a 2 bishop game without trying. Sometimes I under promote to a bishop when I have one but have never been in one without doing that.

The king wouldn't move straight backwards, it would move doagonally to escape, so it doesn't work

I have never found myself in an end game wth just two bishops or two knights or a knight a bishop and thank god for it

I actually once had 2 bishops in endgame (and a few pawns that were just facing enemy pawns) and i did the last part of this where you dorce the king into the corner (which works the same like with 2 rooks checkmating)

Do the bishops have to be in the center to rows? Also, if the king is too close to tbe bishops, the king can just walk around the bishop while making the wall, ive been trying to do the checkmate using this method and failing over and over again
