This is a killer set up I am wanting a laser cutter to make some 3 dimensional signs and custom cut logos. I don’t know if this unit have enough power to cut plywood continuously. I am very familiar with 3D printing but I don’t know anything about laser engraving

I am still learning a lot about using the laser, and I think it is funny how much I struggle with it compared to 3D printing. I think the hardest part is using an inconsistent material like wood compared to a very consistent filament. I have struggled with 1/4" plywood that has internal inconsistencies, while a solid 3/4" board is easy to cut through. I think I'm just using the wrong brands of plywood, and I need to find a source of wood that is made for laser cutting.

How do you make a enter 3 pro into a multi colour printer to print more than one colour?

Thanks for posting, I just bought the same laser and learning what I'm doing too. Maybe for a future video you can develop a materials library for lightburn and this laser. 😃 I'm surprised 0.7 works for you. I did the same burn test and even 0.05 is totally loose. The laser is supposedly a 0.06 laser, so I'm not sure why I'm seeing what I am unless I used the wrong focus cylinder by accident maybe.

Yes I've been slowly trying to build out my lightburn library, so I'll have to cover it when I get it all nailed down. That is weird that we would get such different results. I'm not an expert on how these lasers work or what could cause things to be that differently focused.
