Organising stamp sets makes the process of finding stamp images I need to suit any scrapbook or card project quickly and without any fuss. Today I'm sharing how I categorise and store my stamp sets as well as what I keep on my desk, close at hand, for both stamps & die cut (thin cut) sets.

I find organising by category works well for me, and it's always shifting and changing as I flip through and have album projects in mind. Also, I'm too lazy to sit and document every stamp set I have! 🤣

Those fridge bins are exactly what I use and the big one with the handle and wheels is brilliant for my biggest selection. I don't have many but even so they need a place to live.

Fridge bins are the perfect solution for a lot of crafty storage ideas. I love my double compartment that I take to crops. Stamp sets in one section, inks in the other - or as you saw a whole lot of Christmas in that divided box.

So nice and organized! The stamps that fall into multiple categories are always the hardest to sort. Like you I think of how I am most likely to use them.

Thank you so much Katy. I have just one of the retired large organiser boxes full of stamp sets to sell, although that is slowly reducing. I'm about to do another sort for a paper expo in March and I'm going to have to be ruthless to free up some space. I'm very lucky that I am invited to work the expo events.

Thanks so much Dannii. Flipping through that die bin works well for me - especially with all the great options we have been collecting over the years that are stand alone shapes.

In 2021 after a lot of thought, I purchased Tim Holtz's zip case folder system to store my die-cuts in, however it was a huge waste of money as the plastic sleeves for storing the dies in were of poor quality & even though they were just sitting closed they came apart & by 12 months the whole thing fell apart & all it did was sit next to my desk, so now they are in a box waiting for me to come up with another solution to the problem of how to house them. Watching you today, suddenly it hit me that I should purchase more 6x6 envelopes to put them in them & place them into a container or possibly one of my six stamp boxes as I want to get rid of nearly 10 years of stamps as I seldom used most of them but you know how it was when CTMH came to Australia & a lot of us were starry eyed about the stamps!! I would be quite happy to give them away so have been thinking about how I can do just that as there would be new consultants who I am sure would be happy to embrace a freebie or two. It is just knowing how to go about doing it. So where did you purchase the tall plastic sleeves for you tall die-cuts?

I did that with the brown Tim holtz stamp storage zipper closed. The stamps fall off everywhere inside! Nightmare! I like Holtz distress color line but not any storage!

The 6x6 envelopes work really well for thin cut storage. I needed to source larger envelopes for the slim line sets, but the fridge bin system works well for me.

In Australia, New Zealand and UK (and a few other countries) we spell organisation with an "s", unlike USA and a lot of other countries who use a "z". It's the same for a lot of words like this.
