Hey Vladimer, Just finished my first one and it turned out great thanks to your great step by step instructions. Going to go ahead and carve the second one from the opposite side of the wood. I see a few improvements I can make on my second one. The Nativity scene is a great family treasure you can enjoy every year and knowing it was hand made by your dad is so neat.

Have watched many times and love this little Santa. I have been trying to make a larger one without much success. Is there a secret of proportions for increasing starting size for 2 inches or 50mm. I struggle with the length?
@HomeWoodSpirit
@HomeWoodSpirit 3 жыл бұрын
Hi. There shouldn't be any secret.. :-) When we multiple width by 2 we need to multiple length by 2 as well (and also the third dimension). Lets say it has 50x25mm block. to make it larger i need 100x50mm.
