EBC YellowStuff brake pad upgrade on my R56 Mini Cooper S
In this video i show you how to replace the brake pads in your R56 Mini Cooper S. The pads I upgraded to are EBC YellowStuff but this will work with any brake pads.

I’ve got these yellow stuff pads on my R55, along with some slotted discs. They give excellent brake bite and pedal feel even from cold I find! A good upgrade!

I'm currently collecting up stuff to completely rebuild the rear suspension on my R56. While in there I'm gonna do a brake job as well. These are the pads I intend on using. How are they working out for you?

I broke my rear brake wear sensor trying to pull it out. I didn't want to have to pay $25 for a new one so I ended up cutting off the end, stripping the sheathing, and splicing both wires together. Switched all my pads to EBC Reds at 54k miles and the rears were barely worn so I figure that as long I inspect visually them once a year , I'll be fine.
