The song sparked a lot of controversy due to the original lyric containing direct references to the October 7, 2023 attack of Hamas on Israel and the following Israel-Hamas war. The song is originally called "October Rain" and hence the words of Netanyahu of "Never Again" throughout the song. "Never again" to "hold me again." "October Rain" to "Hurricane."

I have lived in Israel for 25 years and have never seen so much hatred towards Israel and indeed all Jews around the world since Israel began to actively respond to the horrific massacre of October 7th. It began to seem to me that Israel was absolutely isolated and surrounded by complete hatred. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your invaluable support! You just can’t imagine what a relief it is to know that it turns out that not the whole world has gone crazy, and Israel is supported by so many people from different countries. @sophehe Blame Hamas, not Israel. When they carried out the October 7 massacre, they knew full well what Israel's reaction would be. Therefore, Hamas and Hamas alone are responsible for every death in the Gaza Strip. By your logic, the United States should not have started the war in Iraq after 9/11, but the US started the war and a picturemerican soldiers killed far more civilians than Israel did in the Gaza Strip. Any country whose citizens were killed in such numbers and with the brutality with which Hamas killed Israelis would react instantly and with all its might, and no one would say a word against them. Double standards, that's what it is.

This song was originally "October Rain", straight talking about what happened in the south of Israel on October 7th. Once disqualified by organizers because it was too political, the same song now tells a story of resilience and all the difficulties that have to be overcome. A song full of metaphors that will inevitably bring tears to your eyes. “Look into my eyes and see - People look away but never say goodbye" is part of the original song, and we all know what it really means. Also, "I’ve got nothing to hide" is the clamor from all people in Israel and outside Israel. In times of adversity and chaos, the power of love, transforms difficulties into stronger humane beings. This song is touching my heart, I can't stop crying watching the video, imagining the pain, death and fear during the Nova Festival (Oct 7th) recreated by the dancers in the background in the middle of the storm. May the tens of thousands of dead Palestinians rest in peace, may the US stop supporting Israel's genocide. It is heartbreaking to see the ruthless anti-arab sentiment that still animates the Israeli government and the US and Europe. One day, muslims will be seen as normal human beings. Until the West (and that includes Israel) start seeing Arabs and muslims as humans, there will be no peace in Israel. Because Israel is a colony of the West in the Arab world. It is a military base of the west, currently managed by the US. Don't be so proud Israel. You are not independent. You are a vassal in the US empire.

This song, if it's about 7/10, fails because it doesn't reveal the history, the context. 7/10 happened after decades of ruthless state violence against Palestine. Israelis pretend they did nothing wrong and then 7/10 happened. No, Israel has brutalized Palestine for decades, now with 7/10 you got bit back, and it is tragic. Now what have you done? You have slaughtered so many more Palestinians because you are paranoid, terrified, of living side by side with Muslims, Arabs. You demonize them all and rely on US weapons to do the slaughter. You will be okay as long as the US continues to supply, and the Arabs don't get advanced weapons to match them. But you should aim for a peaceful coexistence. I think current-day Israel is allergic to peace. This song is not a masterpiece. It's putting your head in the sand and crying about Israel, washing away any memory of Israel's sins against its neighbors.

The tree as I understand it, is from the point of view of the dead who were murdered at the dance festival by Hamas. Some ppl who experienced clinical death, share that it took them time to realize they left the ground. The dancers renact the terror mixed with dancing to trans music. The sunrise is when Hamas started to slaughter the festival comers who were pretty tired and easy target for their blood thirst . The mysterious ride, on that same day Hamas kidnapped houndreds of civilians, babies children adult and elderly on Toyota trucks. Thats how the war started. The small hole in her T-shirt (3:08minute in your video) is to show the bullets that killed so many Pepole in this day. Many young Pepole was murdered in the Nova dance party, in the middle of the party was the terror attack, Pepole die without saying goodbye. The upside down Olive tree is the logo of Golani. "Golani" Brigade (Hebrew: חֲטִיבַת גּוֹלָנִי) is an Israeli army military infantry brigade that many of their soldiers were murdered on October 7th. The song is talking about the NOVA festival, in which hundreds of young men and women were murdered by the Palestinian terror attack of oct 7th. One of the most horrifying in history. They were shut down, slaughtered, raped and kidnapped while they were dancing and partying peacefully and love. The sound of breaths is for the hours and hours the young people had to hide in the trees from the terrorists. Some of them were found and tortured, some survived. The upside down tree symoolizes the chaos, also the trees they were hiding behind. Young beautiful souls, RIP 😢

Not necessarily. But my country has turned mad. Trust in God. There are so many loving, caring people living in Israel. I wish I could help. Is the One Family Fund still functioning? I know it is impossible to donate to that organisation from Norway. I wish that had been possible. Israelis have a lot of experience of surviving terror attacks and I believe in people who help building people up. God bless you
