Su's vocals combined with the beautiful, soft vocals of Moa singing the ad libs just took me to another universe!

One of my favourite Babymetal songs. It's a shame that it's only been performed live eight times. You have to see the world premiere performance of Shine at Legend M, it's truly sublime. The Avenger for this performance was Sayashi Riho.

Great reaction, thanks! I'm pretty sure that this video is a compilation of two shows: Legend Metal Galaxy (Makuhari 2020) and Metal Galaxy World Tour In Japan (Osaka 2019). "Shine" is an amazing song and it's definitely among my favorites. I also consider this one of Su-metal's finest jobs as a vocalist. Fasten your seatbelt for "Arkadia"! 🤘🦊

Fine Riaction!!! I'm already crying when I hear this song. This beautiful song is rooted in the tragedy of a real-life separation that happened to them, and it is a miracle that it has become a legend in its own right.

Great reaction. 'Shine' is just perfection.🦊The staging and performance in this Legend Metal Galaxy concert were incredible (that was the Avenger Riho in this one - all 3 Avengers performed at legend Metal Galaxy swapping out every two or three songs). The Legend M performance of 'Shine' was where it made its debut ... and that was even better. The staging, the fact it was just Su, Moa and an acoustic guitar on stage, Moa's amazingly expressive and emotional solo choreo ... and arguably Su-metal's finest vocal performance to date. That Legend M performance and the staging I mentioned does make the theories that were talked about in the comments under your 'Starlight' reaction around what the Trilogy of Lights might be (beyond the official 'coming to terms with and acceptance of the loss') that much more plausible. I wonder what you will make of the final song of the Trilogy - 'Arkadia'. I'm guessing you will feel very uplifted and optimistic.

This song is perfection and the Legend M version made it even better. Just Su and Moa on stage. Made it seem very emotional and personal. Extremely beautiful performance. I won't complain about this one either though. Still amazing. 🤘🦊🤘 But seriously do yourself a favor and watch the Legend M version on your own.

Nice reaction. Another personal favorite of mine by Babymetal. Su delivers adynamic performance with such string stage presence. Moa's dance is truly emotional. Which leads the avenger here. Riho the childhood friend of Su-metal. And a great performer in her own right. At the time probably the only one of the avengers who could have delivered this performance along with Su and Moa. If they did it now. IMO Momoko could be right there with them too. She's grown so much as an artists. With that said the performance when it was just Su and Moa is heartbreaking. They really showed how mature they have become. And gave us signs of things to come on the Other One album. A truly mature Kawaii performance. The foxhole is deep and full of surprises.

Hey TYLR-Metal. Don't know if you remember from the guide you watched, but these three songs are believed to be a tribute to their late Kami=band guitarist and mentor Mikio Fujioka who tragically died from an accidental fall off a platform whilst stargazing. . . . . .The songs are said to represent the three stages of grief. Starlight is sorrow and loss. Shine is the journey toward acceptance and remembrance. And Arcadia may represent transcendence. But as always art is interpreted individually and is open to multiple interpretations. . . . . I very much enjoy watching your journey. Kitsunes Up! 🤘🦊🤘

I saw a lot of missinformation on your Starlight reaction and the Trilogy Of Lights, all we got by fact is just some interviews talking little things about it here and there, also the trilogy tittle is official and is meant to represent the ongoing cycle of birth, death and rebirth which is a recurring theme in BM lore, everything else is fan speculation but i think at the end of the day it's not so harmful speculation like others I saw around. Shine is even more special live at Legend M 2019 MoaMetal's 20th Birthday when they performed this with only SuMetal and MoaMetal on the stage unlike the rest of the version dancing with the full trio, in this case you're watching Riho Sayashi, but Momoko (now MomoMetal) as well Kano Fujihira, was also part of this live concerts at LMG 2020 just performing other songs, then altogether at the end with both Kami Band playing the last song in an epic finale. From 2021 onwards the third it's always Momoko. In 2019 and 2020 there are the 3 Avengers rotating (Momoko, Riho and Kano) In 2018 it was a giant mess xD In 2017 and earlier it was Yui (a part from Legend S)

In the Legend M concert where this song was debuted Moa and Su were alone, and Moa actually played the acoustic guitar. That coupled with Moa's dancing and the way that Su and Moa look at at each other make that a very emotional performance and my favorite version of this song. I suggest checking it out when you can, even on your own if you want to but it's a must watch.

I don’t think Moa actually played the guitar at Legend M, she only pretended to. She has admitted herself that she doesn’t practice nearly enough to be proficient. Either way it made the song even more emotional and helped to deliver the message of the song. 🤘🦊🔥

@@Killem911Yup, that's right. In an interview, I don't know anymore which one it was, Moa said that she prefers to put her focus on dancing and was even too nervous to play the guitar part live. But still it's such a beautiful moment seeing her on an acoustic guitar 😍

@@Killem911 @Tickle193 That is possible, if you look carefully she is actually strumming with her thumb, and in time (I play guitar) but whether or not it's actually playing over the audio is unknown. But it still adds so much more depth to the performance the guitar being added to the choreography. Here is an exact quote from Moa from PMC vol 15 interview. Question 22: You had the challenge of playing the guitar live. When did you start playing? MOAMETAL "Was it 2nd or 3rd grade in elementary school? I learned to play the guitar in that time but since middle school I was too busy in class and wasn’t able to keep it going. I played at home occasionally." Question23 Was it even a challenge for you? It honestly seemed like you had a lot of confidence? MOAMETAL "At first the chords I got where difficult to play (laughs). But after the 2nd or 3rd time it got easier to play." Either way it's still my fav performance of that song. I love it.

"Shine" The second instalment of the "TRILOGY OF LIGHTS" after "Starlight". This song fans assume was dedicated to guitarist" Mikio Fujioka" who passed away in Jan 2018 & "Yui Mizuno (Yuimetal)" who left Babymetal in Nov 2018 due to undisclosed health issue. "Starlight" is about remembering, "Shine" is about acceptance and "Arkadia" is looking forward to the future. Kitsune Up 🦊🦊🦊🤘🤟🤘. 'Shine' is about acceptance. Su-Metal and Moametal accepted the fact that Mikio Fujioka is watching over Babymetal and Yuimetal is no longer with Babymetal. In the Legend M concert Su and Moa were together even though Moametal doesn't really playing the guitar which she could, the mood of which this song captivate and portray is mesmerising. Su-Metal and Moametal performed this song for each other and for current and former members of Babymetal. They are leaving the memories that Babymetal created together but not forgotten. I am sorry that you could not read everyone's comments on the Starlight video before you reacted to this song. It is obvious that this song also has something to do with Mikio's death. SU-METAL's emotional display when singing the trilogy of lights is something special. The performance of the Legendary M version is superlative.

Well glad I guess. I got saved from a good cry...And didn't have to fix my makeup. But just fyi...The Legend M version has the most emotional impact of the many versions. Especially once you know the backstory and the key elements behind it.

@@syorks9398But I NEVER mistook Momo, she has very distinctive features among the three (for my eyes, at least 😅). I also tend to not easily tell Moa and Yui apart, from early years 😅
