MauLer/MooLer, the masked ginger had it right, in the future EFAP or FNT idr: whatever Samuel Jackson was doing, it reminded him of a female aunt. He's spot on. Samuel spoke, held himself, gesticulated and walked like a woman. How did he allow himself to do that to himself, idk. Anoher black man, Mahershala Ali, a man of courage and conviction, walked off the set of the ESG/DIE Blade because he wouldn't participate in the destruction of a black cultural myth, legend and hero. Image that... Imagine if us "white folk" had white male actors that didn't participate in the wholesale destruction of our cherished Western cultural myths, legends, heroes and heroines... you know those things that make it easy for our society and us parents pass on our values to the next generation. Oh, wait, it makes perfect sense now given the holly wood death cult baphomet worshipping groomers... Silly me!

Yeah, I don't understand. On the one hand you can take a superhero movie and make it into anything from Iron Man to The Dark Knight. SUPERHEROES are not the problem, clearly. Its more like Disney has Dinsey+ and so everything they make is B and C-Grade straight to TV / DVD quality. I don't remember Captain Marvel having so much greenscreen. (I don't remember Captain Marvel, period.) But between Dr Strange MOM, Ant Man 3 and this, its game over. Disney has got one trick: a 280 degree curved projection screen and a videogame engine. Every single frame looks like a Destiny videogame. Including the characters and all the flying animations.

Let's think about it: they made a movie about three characters that no one cared about it and completly lack of charm and put a villain no one heard of and made a trailer like it's something we were waiting for. You can tell that these people who worked for it never read a comic in their life.

how is it that the CGI in Tron: Legacy looks way better back in 2010 than it does now in 2023?! I'd rather watch Tron: Legacy at home multiple times than see this POS once in theaters.

@matthewmuir88848 ай бұрын
Hollywood is extremely exploitative of CGI studios; essentially giving the job to the lowest bidder and overworking them under impossible deadlines. Not only that, but Tron Legacy had a thing movies used to do called pre-production, where time was given to plan out the movie before filming began. That doesn't happen anymore and instead, the team figures out what the movie will look like while they're filming it, often with many changes during or in post-production at the whims of the executives.

when it comes to the stone in the hammer, i'm betting they're going to say that skrulls stole the schematics for the avengers time machine and the pimp particles, but the kree or whatever stole it from them and used it instead to fulfill ronan's mission and steal the power stone. I'm willing to bet we even get a scene where WOM'an the metoo Accuser kicks the crap out of RON'an the regular accuser and steals it from him, thus fulfilling Lee Pace's contractual agreements to appear in 3-4 marvel films. EDIT: also, did anyone ever play the guardians of the galaxy game that came out a few years back???? that was fun - it had it's issues like, you couldn't choose which player you controlled you were ALWAYS Starlord and you had to use button promts to tell the crew what to do in battles and while platforming, but i thought it was a pretty fun game, good story, cool visuals and music the battle system was fun but would have been cooler if you could swap main characters and very linear "on track" levels - no sandbox - but yeah I genuinely actually rank it about a 7 out of 10. I thought it was a very enjoyable gaming experience, cinematic but also very involving, if you didn't like the third guardians film, try the game, it's like Guardians meets Uncharted.

Can someone explain to me how X-Men doesn't conflict with the rest of Marvel? It just seems to opperate on a different setting. Since half of the point of it is discrimination if mutants, but since mutants are basically just people with superpowers that could be anything would that not also apply to the rest of the super Marvel characters regardless of their mutant-ness? And would there not be far more crossover with mutants and differently superpowered individuals?
@MegaSpideyman8 ай бұрын
It could be illogical discrimination.
@vadandrumist16708 ай бұрын
@@MegaSpideyman I don't see your point. My problem is not that mutants are discriminated against, it's that their pseudo-setting is significantly based on such discrimination when the rest of the setting isn't. Because for most super-powered individuals, people would not be able to tell the difference, and so would discriminate against them just as readily as the mutants, and even if they did recognize the difference they most likely would still discrimination since it would be a distinction without a difference. Spiderman, for example, would be regarded as mutant and should by all rights deal with the same problems that a mutant in his situation would.
@TheMaleRei8 ай бұрын
@@vadandrumist1670 Yep. That has been a problem in the comics for years. And finally the comic potato writers went full ethnostate for the X-Men, in violation of the *entire point* of Xavier and the X-Men.
@theraven2688 ай бұрын
@@vadandrumist1670 The (admittedly tepid) explanation was usually that heroes are either vigilantes like Daredevil and Punisher with no obvious powers or in other cases others have limited powers or were in some way connected to some government and would possibly seem to the public that there is accountability and some level of "let's not give them insane powers" meanwhile mutants are random and can be insanely powerfull and unpredictable. Spider-Man is also generally SUPPOSED to be distrusted or even hated by the public (though it's implied that most of this comes from triple J's stance in the papers), In the ultimate universe they squared the difference a bit better and have multiple characters question whether Spider-Man is a mutant and the mutant hysteria is present in other things than just the X-Men.
@Shockguey8 ай бұрын
This is why X-Men being owned by Fox was actually a good thing. Oh well.
