I love both shows to the bone. And I do agree that Euphoria is undoubtedly more visually pleasing; it’s aesthetically self-conscious. I do however find a little annoying that people keep praising Euphoria for telling each characters’ back story/perspective, when its something that was done in Skins ages ago bro. Give the show a little credit:(

I personally think her wrap up story was spot on and it represented her well. She was always manipulative and egoistic, she did whatever she wanted and played with people's feelings because she enjoyed being desired and idiolized, to her that was power. She used to do it because she was insecure and depressed and wanted closenness and fun without getting damaged. But once she kind of grew out of that depression, she found power in being succesfull by whatever means in her career, and she did it by playing with a guy's heart, being totally aware of the power she had over him and not giving a fuck. During her season, Effy was always this girl. A lot fans just don't want to see the bitch that she was because they are all too in love with her or relate to her. I always liked her character, because she was complex, not perfect.

Maybe I’m biased but I enjoy the writing in skins and cinematography more than Euphoria. Skins seems more realistic and the scenes were much more natural, meanwhile Euphoria isn’t really like that to me

@@goldenboyproductions2740 I don't think it was 'unrealistic', maybe it was somewhat over the top with certain things, but for the most part it definitely had some truth to it. Maybe it's because you mostly remember all the partying and all the drugs, but even then that's part of the point. Like Deborah said, everybody was getting fucked up to avoid their own reality and the show had an episode for each character specifically to deal with whatever it was that was causing all the trouble. Maybe you can't relate to it, and that's fine, but people like this exist.

I can try. She come s off as incredibly pretentious especially when JJ confronted her. She isn't very dynamic. Her best characteristics come out when she's around Pandora. She was rather manipulative. She wasn't relatable. Trukynwho can relate to Effy? I m neutral on Effy Stonem because I struggle to understand her character. Characters like Grace blood, or Chris Miles are far more dynamic and add so much to their friend group I can understand and empathize with them as well as the fact they feel real.Or for 2nd generation characters I liked Emily Fitch significantly more than Effy. Or Pandora.
