This is very stereotypical. Dressing up modestly has nothing to do with the social class. I am wearing hijab and I belong to upper middle class. I know a lot of veiled women as well who are upper classes. It is unfortunate that we associate hijab to social level and this only happens in Egypt.

I have another three people in my family with green/ hazel eyes. On my mom side most of them are pale and on my dad's they're tan. That's just in my family. All over Egypt I saw many people with colored eyes. Their skin tones reaching from really dark to pale. Most of them were tan or pale. The ones with really dark skin didn't even look Egyptian, they were from Sudan. Dina is a perfect representation of modern Egyptians with her pale blue eyes and tan skin it shows how diverse we are

True. I was born in The Netherlands and basically, all the women born here are light-skinned. We also have other complexions, ofcourse, like every country we do have that all, but almost every woman here has blue eyes. Blonde hair isn't really something we naturally have, brown hair is something we do have alot. What I was saying: not everyone in the West thinks the blondes are the shit. I actually don't specificially dig blondes as much. What I do like is diversity. When I opened this video, the first thing I saw were this woman's beautiful eyes. We mostly have the combination of brown hair and brown eyes.. :(. I, myself, am a woman with brown hair and blue eyes, so I shouldn't complain. The Netherlands is actually part of Western Europe, so that means it is 'the West'. Although I assume you also include the USA. Countries with alot of power? And the West does have culture. Not the USA has cultures, although it is seen as standard and not interesting. Oh dear, I'm rambling xD

I am referring to the West in general, though not generalizing that the entire West feels that way. But yes in America( or similar cultures) find the epitome of beauty to be blonde white woman with blue eyes, which seems to be the standard. Nothing wrong with that. But I personally find the diversity of traits that exist in the Middle East to be much more beautiful because beauty can be found in light or dark skin, and the different colored eyes that both light or darker skin people can have in combination with their other traits (hair, etc) is so alluring .. compared to light skin/hair/eyes being the standard of beauty in the West and Asia. For example, a woman with dark hair and dark skin with natural green eyes is FAR more appealing/sexy to me and unique than another generic blonde with blue eyes. With Middle Eastern women you kinda get a range of everything ... dark hair with light skin/eyes; dark hair/skin with light eyes; light hair/skin/eyes or dark hair/skin/eyes etc etc .. people from those areas seem to be blessed with good features and unique looks

+Maud van der Steen most of the dutch people are dark blonde and blue eyed. My mom is dark haired and has dark eyes, but Im blonde and I have green eyes, just as my two sisters. Brown hair and brown hair is submissive to blonde hair and blue eyes in the netherlands, because almost everyone has the genes for blonde hair and blue eyes in their dna

yea Im a pure bred pakistani, I have a light tan skin tone, my dad is a bit darker, my mom is almost white looking. My grandma and cousins have blue, grey and green eyes. I have brown. another one of my cousins has a dark skin tone. So yes middle easterns are diverse. You cant even tell that we are related :)

Aiman Haroon Many argue tho that Pakistan is not middle eastern since it was a part of india for majority of its exsistence. The colored eyes and white look mostly come from north Iran, Lebanon and North Egypt
