FILM DESCRIPTION:
Davey Stone (Adam Sandler), a 33-year old party animal, finds himself in trouble with the law after his wild ways go too far. Can we give a round of applause to Tom? He had the most prestigious award the town could offer literally in the palm of his hand and he graciously stepped down so it could go to someone who deserved it more. Graceful losers are underrated. To have the backbone to give up something you really really wanted and be able to genuinely congratulate the person it goes to is just...it’s so small and this movie is so crazy but it is really sweet.

i can feel davey, he wasnt acting like a criminal cause he wanted to. he was doing it cause his parents death put a huge toll on him and he was mearly depressed.

this is an underrated Sandler movie that actually tries in earnest to tell a story about grief, mourning, and repression, but still manages immature jokes about portopotties and boners.

This scene gives me goosebumps every time I watch it. Just really touching. It was Whitey’s last chance to try and win that award that he waited most of his life for. He had done nice things for the people of Dukesberry, but never got a single thanks. And after thinking real hard about how ignorant the residents had been to him and how badly he was treated, the people knew who deserved that Patch award more than anybody.

Yes definitely. He absolutely deserved this moment. I mean when cries when he didn't get it. How he was at the Mall. Saying "At least give me that" and when he was telling the Mall that he didn't get it. God that gutted me. I was thinking "This sweet man. All he ever wanted. Was for the people to show much he does for the town. For the sake of doing it". When they started throwing every one down. That was beautiful. This is my favourite Adam Sandler movie. Because it's the only one where Adam Sandler is not my favourite character. Whitey is.

This is my favourite Adam Sandler movie. Because it shows us that we should not take good people for granted. When Whitey cried and when he didn't get it. I really felt it. I mean all he wanted was to show the people how much he does for the town. Whitey was the best thing about this movie. My favourite character. He was very sweet and caring. He absolutely deserved this moment.
