Excellent subject to be discussed. There are a lot of parallels between theoretical physics and philosophy. Professor David Bohm, who was a doctoral student of Professor Robert Oppenheimer and later assistant to Professor Albert Einstein at Princeton University used to have talks with J. Krishnamurti. The contribution of Dr Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar to the black hole has been neglected by the scientific community. It is "the Chandrasekhar limit " that determines if a star dies as a white dwarf, or has the mass to exceed this, launching a supernova to create a black hole or neutron star. The term "black hole" was coined many years later in 1967 by American astronomer John Wheeler The book Selected Papers, Volume 6: The Mathematical Theory of Black Holes and of Colliding Plane Waves, S. Chandrasekhar is published by the University of Chicago. The 2017 Nobel prize in Physics was awarded to Rainer Weiss, Barry C. Barish and Kip S. Thorne for decisive contributions to the LIGO detector, and the observation of gravitational waves. Even Dr Penrose's Nobel prize for Physics came two decades late and once again a delayed recognition of important theoretical work. Dr Penrose was awarded the Nobel prize for research he had carried out some five decades ago. He used Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity to prove that a singularity and the formulation for a black hole is, mathematically, possible. Dr Chandrasekharwas awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1983 for his contribution to the structure and evolution of stars. It took the Nobel Committee 50 years to recognize his scientific contribution. His calculations predicted the physically impossible to measure negative radii of white dwarfs, which had evolved from stars over a certain critical mass; thus effectively concluding that such stars could not turn into white dwarfs. Yet the core of this work, known as " the Chandrasekhar limit ", was ignored for decades even as he had gone on to make remarkable contributions in several other fields. Were his theories overlooked because of his race or origin? It was very unfortunate. As a 19-year-old brilliant young student, Chandrasekhar made some calculations with a pencil applying Einstein's special theory of relativity to the processes that went on inside stars. This step was important because particles inside stars travel at speeds close to that of light, a situation where Einstein's theory must be used. At the time, scientists assumed that when a star burned up the last of its fuel, it would turn into a ball of cinders and go cold - become a white dwarf star. Dr Chandrasekhar's mathematics showed that a white dwarf much heavier than the sun could not exist, but would undergo an eternal collapse into a tiny point of infinite density until it slipped through a crevice in space and time, from which nothing could escape, not even light. It was the first irrefutable mathematical proof that black holes - as they were later dubbed - had to exist. The Chandrasekhar-Eddington controversy was probably one of the reasons that Dr Chandrasekhar left Cambridge for the USA. When Dr Chandrasekhar was a young doctoral student at the University of Cambridge, his doctoral advisor Dr Ralph Fowler, who was also the research supervisor to Dr Paul Dirac. Dr Fowler was said to have sent the research paper of Dr Chandrasekar to the astrophysicist Dr Edward Arthur Milne for expert advice. The recommendation of these gentlemen as members of the Royal Astronomical Society was crucial for the publication of Chandrasekhar’s scientific paper in the "Monthly Notices" of the Royal Astronomical Society. According to the physicist Kameshwar C. Wali, these men were not at all interested in sending the paper ahead for publication. The astrophysicist Dr Milne is said to have interpreted Chandrasekhar’s results as contradicting his own idea, that every star had a degenerate core. It is important to notice Dr Milne, who was a Christian theist and theistic evolutionist naively believed that "the so-called almighty God" intervenes with "deft touches" to steer mutations in the right direction. Dr Chandrasekhar was eventually forced to send his paper to the US-based Astrophysical Journal where it was published in 1931 At Cambridge, his hopes were dashed. Scientists there ignored his discovery. Cast down by the dank fens and dreary weather, utterly unlike the welcoming warmth of south India, he gave way to depression. Finally, he managed to complete his doctorate in 1933 and won a fellowship to continue his work at Cambridge. In subsequent works, he responded to some of Milne’s criticisms. Cautious about English journals, he sent this paper to the German journal "Zeitsschrift fur Astrophysik" and as fate would have it, Dr Milne was asked to referee. The paper was finally published in the journal in 1932 with Dr Chandrasekhar’s now oft-quoted words: “For all stars with a mass greater than M, the matter does not become degenerate. Great progress in the analysis of stellar structure is not possible unless we can answer the following fundamental question: what happens if we go on compressing the matter indefinitely?”

For me, it is great an opportunity to know about science of science especially einstein's theory. Further, the interaction between philosophical and scientific is inspired. Sir, Murali sir philosophical interaction on relative motion,waves are moving not water, fourth dimension " time" various scientific theories, quantum mechanics and other valuable philosophical critical, radical interpretation in deep to understand the philosophy and science of science is useful for me. Though it is nutshell on relative theory but it will be useful while reading various reference books . Thanks to both of you.
