The first 2 runways were awful, but the final road I found is pretty good. Shorter than I originally thought but hopefully can get some good numbers out of it!

So what happened to the 1717? Did the motor wires unsolder themselves? I’ve had that happen once on the inside where the windings attach to the tabs

Totally blew up. The can spewed smoke out and locked up to the point where I can hardly get the shaft to spin with a wrench lol

Castle stuff is unreliable. You pay big money and it fails. I have seen bent motor shaft out of the box. Some call them castle cremations and for a reason.

Castle makes the best speed run esc’s on the market by far. The motor failure was definitely a fluke as I know tons of people who run them without issue
