RC Car Extreme Speeds - Fastest Yet!

In this video we take out the Worlds Fastest rc car project and see if we can beat our previous PB. After making a few changes to the car we were feeling confident in its ability to crush its last speed record. We learned that sometimes it's better to take the first win and play it safe!

Do you think the detached driveline cause the drivshaft pin to fail

@@dannywilcock5529 the pins failed because I made 15+ passes over 150mph all the way up to 185 without changing them. They wear just like any other metal on metal part. By no means is it because the pins or shafts were weak

I think it's awesome that we have the means to push our rc cars to go that fast I have the armma limitless an want to get it to go that fast .Great job keep pushing.

Thanks Keith! It’s a lot more technical than I let on to be. I’ve put in countless hours tuning this car to have it 1. Go straight, and 2. Be able to put the power down without blowing over

Congrats on the 185!! New sub to the channel. I'm currently building a limitless V2 It's just going to be a single Castle 1721 I'll be happy in the 150 range! It's a lot of work when you start hitting those really big numbers, but it's a great challenge.

Try to put some grease on the shafts with a rubber boot like in a real car to reduce wear. I dont know if it can take the rpm

I thought about that but I don’t know of a boot that can survive 50k rpm

Getting up there now, to be honest even if you had checked the car over you probably wouldn't have seen that, it likely just failed on that run

Thanks! I’m usually very meticulous with my check overs, I even watch the onboard footage before I run. And on the 185 run if I paid closer attention I’d see the sparks starting on that run.
