The motor and controllers of the passenger elevator have been replaced by KONE in 2000, furthermore an M-series chime has been added. The freight elevator is still completely original

i was searching for an elevator cart image from the outside like this for years and i finally found something that lets me see the elevator from the outside

Nice of the mechanic to allow you to ride the top of the elevator! I noticed they filled a void in the shaftwall with masonry. It looks big enough for a door. The concrete shaft is quite smooth on the inside, as a structural engineer I quite like how they have recessed the guiderail mounts (UNP profile sections) into the walls.

this elevator was upgraded with new machinery, controllers and M-series chime in the year 2000. Otherwise original since 1978!
