@@EliteAudioUK I hope I am not buggin you, but I am really curious if you had a chance to make this comparison between InnuOS vs. Roon. Of course, Innuos says that their OS gives better sonic results - I asked them at the High End in Munich this year. However, independent ears might hear it differently. Thanks for the comment and I undertand where you are coming from. That said, I can honestly say this is the best I have heard. I spent quite a bit of time after shooting the video and then earlier today doing some critical listening. (Bearing in mind the Statement is not close to being run in) and comparing it with an almost equally priced device the Statement was significantly better. Particularly in the midrange and the high frequencies. Bigger soundstage with a much more organic feel. Whats interesting about that is that prior to listening to the Innuos, I was unaware of the shortcomings of the alternative that I have listened to on MANY occasions. The real test will come when we pitch it against a £30k device. So I'd say based on my listening thus far, questions on the significance of certain specification aside, it sounds incredible. I believe there is not a single high end streamer on the market that rips SACDs. Hardly any high end streamers even offer CD ripping. Thus, I would not call the product deceiving. Nevertheless, I agree that it would be a cool feature!
