With the amount of other trample enabling auras, I haven't prioritized the Monster roles too much, but I see their usefulness for sure. I have not had too much trouble getting Virtuous roles across the board, but the deck isn't built to go super wide. I'd love to see your list to compare!

I think the beauty is how many routed you have to go! I’ve just found hitting hard tends to help end the game a bit quicker, and the graveyard recursion (I’ve added a piece or 2 more) can lead to sustained threats even when one is removed

I see your answer lying in 2 solutions; 1. Umbras, they’ll protect you against most mass removal 2. Lean heavy into the protection spells. Clever Concealment/Flawless Maneuver/Flare of Fortitude can be great ways to keep a boardwipe from ending our fun

My Sythis deck was fairly optimized, with combos and a lot of just cheap value. It was before I started brewing towards my playgroup and a more balanced power level. Ellivere is not the best enchantment commander by any means, I think Calix from MAT does a bit better, as well as a lot of the Selesnya tokens decks can be more explosive. What I like about it is that those Virtuous roles can end games quickly when unchecked. With 10+ enchantments on board you’re talking about a lot of damage spread around. Get them on lifelinkers and you are only concerned with commander damage to lose. My last 5-6 games I’ve won with 90 life or so
