‘Einstein’ is way too far, he’s more this gen’s Edison, Jobs, a once-in-a-gen engineering-oriented entrepreneur industrialist. His talent isn’t himself singularly making world-changing discoveries or inventions, but in attracting & leading 1000s of world class engineers to create what people deem impossible, & then crucially, to manufacture those creations at scale for the only way to help solve some of mankind’s existential problems: climate change, multi-planetary species, AI & more

What makes it necessary to install the entire device within the skull? Creating x-number of micro-holes, just slightly larger in diameter than each thread, would mean that as tech improves and becomes smaller over time, the device core could be changed frequently and non-invasively. Thread holes can always be added later, too.

I don't think this technology should be exclusively wireless. There should be a wired version too. To allow for ultra high bandwidth, with very low latency. This would be good for tasks that are not mobility oriented. Like piloting drones, controlling vehicles and ships, star crafts and just about any other vehicle. Interfacing with a piece of technology directly with ultra high bandwidth and low latency would be much better for generalized applications, in my opinion. For more specialized use like prosthesis, or fine motor functions and mobility wireless would be ideal.

Wireless at close proximity (
@ysonokosan
@ysonokosan Жыл бұрын
@@thomasreese2816 I'm talking about more than a hole in the skull. Think bigger, much bigger. A connection large enough to allow at least a petabyte connection speed. With enough practice, and the right technology, I'm confident the human brain could multitask complex, and large scale operations with ease. Controlling construction robots and heavy equipment, like a conductor at a symphony. Couple a high bandwidth stationary connection and interface, with a connection point on the human body like the spine or brain, for commercial and industrial purposes. Systems like that could be expanded on for many applications. But yeah, I suppose you could do close proximity wireless as well and possibly achieve the same thing. Though, you're always going to get interference with wireless connections. Among other issues. Wired connections for industrial, commercial and military applications is the way to go though, I think.

@ysonokosan
@ysonokosan Жыл бұрын
@@mikes8510 Something similar, but not quite as long and invasive as the one in that movie. I'm sure a connection that is around that size but not actually inserted into the body would be better. There are plenty of connector types that don't use prongs or pins, just contacts secured by magnetic force or something else. The only permanent implant would need to be a generic receptacle on the body. Where it's placed and what form it takes is a question for doctors and engineers.
