Although Elvis cherished his fans, he was frequently amused by how the women would go wild and scream. He was such a humble man.

@@008overrated ;Elvis is still ALIVE !! That was NOT Elvis in that casket ! It was a Wax Dummy ! That is what was in the 900 lb Copper Casket along with a battery powered portable cooling unit to keep the Wax from melting.Everyone that observed the '' body '' in the coffin noticed that the forehead had '' beads of moisture ''.Gene Smith, Elvis's 1st cousin, said that the Sideburns had been glued on and kept coming loose! Gene also stated that one could feel the ''chilled air'' all around the casket that was coming from a cooling unit within the coffin. When Gene asked Vernon where Elvis was , Vernon replied , '' He's safe, Don't worry ,He's Upstairs resting. We had to put something on display for the fans ! '' ELVIS did NOT Die on August 16, 1977 ! NO ONE is actually buried there at the Meditation Garden in back of the Mansion. Only the top layer of sod was removed for the placement of the Bronze Memorial plaques ! Those are just there for the Fans and the Tourists. All of Elvis' family members that have done passed on are buried somewhere else in a undisclosed Private Cemetery and ELVIS IS Very Much STILL ALIVE ! He never really stopped making his music ! He has been recording and making music all this time. He just can''t release any of his songs using his real name anymore because of EPE,Inc. He has been using different alias ever since.Elvis Aron Presley is sometimes Jon Burrows and several other various ''alias''. He staged and faked his death with the help and knowledge of Col. Tom Parker, Dr. '' Nick '' , Joe Esposito , and the FBI by doing a '' Body Swap '' with a Terminal Bone Cancer patient Roscoe Scott Holloway of Germantown, TN of whom Dr. Nichopolous had located. After some minor cosmetic surgery they made Roscoe Scott Holloway look like Elvis, a ''double'' which fooled the Paramedics , the hospital personnel and most family members. Elvis, aka Jon Burrows, was a U.S. Special Federal Agent that worked undercover in various '' sting operations '' against known members of the SDS Weather Underground Terrorist Group. The SDS Weather Underground Terrorist Group was responsible for numerous multiple bombings of Police Departments ,Federal and State Court Houses and other public buildings during the 1960's and 1970's. Charles William ''Bill'' Ayers was the SDS Leader of the Weather Terrorist Group, along with his cohort Bernardine Rae Dohrn, was a personal friend and Mentor to a one Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Hussein Obama and it was the SDS Weather Underground Terrorist Group that put Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Hussein Obama into Politics and made him the Socialist Thug that he is and a threat to the American way of life as we know it. Elvis, aka Jon Burrows, the name he used working for the DEA and later for the FBI as a Special Federal Agent, was appointed by the former late President Richard M. Nixon and Elvis, aka Jon Burrows, worked as a Federal Agent from December 1970 until his official retirement in December 2004. In September 1978 , Elvis, aka Federal Agent Jon Burrows was the Government's '' Secret Witness '' in '' Operation Fountain Pen '' and He testified in Federal Court against a well known member of the Mafia Organized Crime Syndicate, a one Fredrick Peter Pro of the '' Fraternity '' In September 1977, Elvis, aka Federal Agent Jon Burrows, entered the Federal Witness Protection program where he stayed until July 1978. Then Agent Jon Burrows, aka Elvis, returned to Washington D.C. where he worked undercover for the DEA and then later for the FBI Counter Intelligence Branch until his official Retirement in December 2004, and ending 34 years of dedicated Federal Service. Elvis, aka Jon Burrows was in the Federal Witness Protection program because of past threats made by members of the SDS Weather Underground Terrorist Group, Bill Ayers and past threats by certain key members of the Mafia Organized Crime Syndicate, of which Agent Burrows, aka Elvis took part in various undercover '' sting operations '' to indict and bring them to Justice. All these facts are told in a documentary interview that Elvis aka Jon Burrows, gave, recorded and released on a DVD in January 2012. Elvis, aka Jon Burrows, also recorded and released a brand new CD of 15 songs in January of 2012. Both have been voice printed and authenticated 100 % as the voice of Elvis Aron Presley by Computer Voice Analysts Technicians. Besides being a U.S. Federal Agent with the DEA and then later with the FBI ,as appointed by the late former POTUS Richard M. Nixon on December 21, 1970 , Elvis was also a Bonded, Certified & Trained Deputy Sheriff with the Shelby County Sheriff's Dept. Memphis,TN, since September 23, 1964 and Chief Deputy since October 10, 1970 with Shelby County Sheriff's Dept .Elvis was also a Reserve Police Captain in the Memphis PD , a Reserve Police Captain with Denver PD and a Reserve Deputy Sheriff with the LA County Sheriff's Dept. He was nominated as One of the Top 10 Young Men in America by the American Jaycees on January 16, 1971, not for his work as a Entertainer, but for his dedication and work in Law Enforcement !! A Fulton County Deputy Sheriff , GA , was on location at a very well known Underground Wax Museum in Atlanta, Georgia on the week they were closing. Vernon Presley and a couple of the guys that worked for Elvis came in and bought a lifelike life sized wax figure of Elvis, because it was all being auctioned off. They made the purchase and on the way out the door, Vernon Presley turned to the guy at the museum counter and said, " Just Wait 'til you guys see what we're going to do with this " ! AND this Is the TRUTH as told by Elvis himself !!! Elvis Presley Is Alive !!!

This will ALWAYS be my favorite! I was a small child when I first heard this! Loved it then, still love it! His original backup singers were the Gospel groups, the Stamps Quartet, the Jordanaires, and later The Imperials and Sweet Inspiration with Cissy Houston, Whitney's mother. JD Sumner, his base singer from the Stamps Quartet told this story of how They met. They performed in Gospel singings in Memphis, and Elvis would sneak into the shows without paying, because he had no money. One night J.D caught him sneaking in. Instead of kicking him out JD let him in for free every night after that, and Elvis became good friends with them all. When Elvis started performing, he included them in his shows, movies, recording sessions, and concert tours!

I love love my Elvis. I watched a video today where the spy guy went to Elvis's old school. He found the bathroom where these boys threathened to cut Elvis hair because he wore his long and in a duck tail...Elvis was picked on a lot because he didn't dress or act like those he went to school with. Spy guy got on the stage at the school where Elvis performed a song during his high school senior year. He was always picked on until he performed that night at school. The school fell in love with Elvis after that. That was in 1953. Lol

Im a big Elvis fan since I am 5 years old. As teenager I dressed myself like him and had a hairstyle like him, some people thought I was Elvis, they really did. Now this song is from 1956 and in the 50's there were two icons who made all the difference in youth's life and that's James Dean and Elvis Presley, and they had a profounding effect on our lives and they still do, it is amazing. Now Elvis Presley was also overwhelming because he is the first male singer loved by boys and girls. Back to the 50's music was very serious for the youth, they saved their pocket money for the weekends and went then to a restaurand, club or bar and there then to a jukebox to spend a nickle and to hear a song. Now before Elvis, boys would choose a female singer like Patti Page and girls a male singer like Frank Sinatra, till Elvis came and Elvis brought them together, there was absolutley no hesitation on both sides boys and girls. He is unbelievable, he is revolution, he changed the way of listening to music and had a profounding effect on all our lives, culturally emotionally, spiritually ..... and finally he was very generous and humble!

The word you might be looking for there is swagger. Elvis had tons of it. I remember when my mama cried on the day he died. I was just a kid and didn't get it then but I do now. In the PBS documentary on Country Music that just finished up last night, the episode on the 1950's, which ran last week, touched on early era Elvis and his cover of the Bluegrass song "Blue Moon of Kentucky" and how radios stations back then didn't know how to classify his music, whether he was country or pop or something else. By the time he released "Don't Be Cruel," they knew he was something else, and boy howdy was he ever! Anyway, one Elvis classic worth a listen is the song "It's Now or Never" from 1960: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i92Vn9Wlx56zmKM.html And if you want to learn more about Elvis as a musician, check out the 2018 HBO documentary "Elvis Presley: The Searcher" -- It's four hours long (two parts) and worth every minute of your time.

I usually watch his documentaries when they're first shown, but I have missed a few that I caught up with when my local PBS station reran them later (Baseball) and others that I've watched twice (Jazz, The Civil War).

I think that the reactions humored him quite a bit; it's my understanding that he was a pretty bashful, especially when he was young, and he didn't himself as being so all around smokin' hot, so to chuckle here and there makes sense if my understanding is correct. He surely was the whole package, huh? And I love that the hairstyle has made a return too btw 😍

You described a big part of Elvis in a word "Charisma". Elvis never lost that. He loved to perform.

The backup singers were the Jordanaires. He also used JD Sumner and the stamps. Sometimes he use the Imperials. He had this guy named Tony and I can't think of this last name to make up a group called The Voices just so he would have a group to call on when he felt like singing These gospel songs because he said he sang them they say he sang them all the time and love them! He had known JD Sumner since he was a kid. I think he had great respect for JD Sumner! I absolutely love Elvis! I really love your reaction to him. And you can hear him laugh. When God was giving out things Elvis make sure to get in every line to get all that he could get and God gave it all to him!

Elvis always liked performing with gospel groups. He started with the Jordanaires as you see here and later with the Imperials & Sweet Inspirations. When the Imperials left to become a pioneering Contemporary Christian group, he was joined by J.D. Sumner and the Stamps.

One of the reasons Elvis was so important was because he loved gospel quartets. As often as he could, he always had the Jordanaires back him, as they are here. The sound it created with them backing Elvis then led to the "Do wop," "Be bop," movement where groups harmonized together. Elvis may not have started rock and roll but he influenced the direction of music many ways and more so than just about anyone in the TV era. Thanks for going back to his early days this time!
