I think it's perfectly fine if one doesn't want to travel. A lot of folk these days spend so much time glued to their phones, vlogging and on Insta etc while "travelling" that they really aren't experiencing the trip properly anyway.

India is truly beautiful because of the Indians, very sweet, kind and hospitable people. They are also very generous, no matter how little they have they always share it❤ Karl is universal, there's people like him in every country and that's what makes it so relatable and fun when they put him through stuff🤣 And yes, we are spoilt as hell and should never complain and always be grateful for our privileges.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), only 12% people smoke in India and smoking isn't allow in many public places. If you visit these sadhus then definitely you faced this problems. Please check more places in India.

So I got exactly the opportunity you describe... a free trip to India escorting a group of young people from the UK (a group from India got to visit the UK). Please remember Carl's trip is shown for comedic effect. What you saw was a culture shock... and that is an experience everyone ought to have in their lives. Out of all your comfort and into something completely different. Now stop trying to judge India with Western eyes... People from other cultures can not imagine a civilized country where you put your elders into a residential home, or a country where a hospital could turn away a sick person because they do not have the right kind of insurance, or where thousands sleep on the streets in the wealthiest country on earth in the richest cities. Look at how strangers accepted Carl the foreigner and took him into their homes to meet their family, they blessed him and invited him to join in with their happy celebrations. Was Carl mugged, assaulted, did people get angry when he looked down on them and said bad things about the way they lived? Spending time in India can have a profound affect on how you see the world... if you open your senses to the possible and stop looking for the familiar. Your reaction to catching sight of a guys willy was hilarious... are all Americans so prudish? A hundred years ago you could go to the fair to look at the freak show... now we watch the internet so we can point and laugh.

Thank you for saying that. People forget Steve saying that he'd visited India before and genuinely enjoyed it. We're DIFFERENT. That doesn't make us disgusting. If they're scared seeing the naked Baba, I can't imagine what they'd think of the Khajuraho and the Konark temple, where sexuality is embraced by depictions right on the temple walls. Incidentally, India was forced to become prudish after years of invasion and subsequent influence, and the Western world declared that they had turned animals into respectable civilians. I hate how a lot of western media still portrays our country, making people think that had it not been for the West, we would have been doomed. That is not true at all. I enjoy watching Karl Pilkington. What I don't like though, is how everyone watching this chooses to really believe that India is a disgusting place, and not try to look for the good.

The USA seems to have a big problem with nudity lol. In the UK we are much more lax when it comes to TV. And violence in videogames for that matter (compared to European countries).

As an British born Indian. I’ve been a couple of times, and yes there are a lot of areas are like where Karl visited with humble simple life surroundings but there’s far more cleaner contemporary places out there and paradise hot spots than you might think or associate with India, even some cities are reminiscent of London or New York with Malls, high street shops, 5 star hotels, Restaurants and Cafes etc, it’s a kaleidoscope of different cultures, class of people and different surroundings, it was an experience made appreciate the life i have love the channel keep up the good work guys

I'm sorry, what...? You think animals in India live in poor conditions from having watched ONE video about the country...? India as a country doesn't slaughter half as many animals as the West. There are more forests here, home to different wildlife. Monkeys, cows and elephants are worshipped. Dogs and cats are loved. The Bengal tigers are protected. I was in India in 1975 and I never touched cowshit and never saw any Baba manipulate his goolies. Ricky set him up. That is the whole point of this series, to watch Karl having a horrible time. You guys need to get out more.

India IS an english speaking country. they are taught english from near birth.

Quite so, English is one of the official languages of India, I think there's 21/22. A university graduate will speak Hindi, English and their regional language at the minimum and likely more.
