@Slave2Paper Did you know that the rich get richer because they decide to be paid more for something? A plumber is less paid then an actor, but a plumber is more valuable to have. The plumber cannot charge higher because the plumber will not be able to compete with other plumber-prices. It also has to do with the job, the actor is more valuable skill-wise because being a plumber is an easy to learn job, while being an actor takes in account the environment you were raised up in. That is why the rich get richer, simply because they are paid more at an accepted rate. That's how capitalism works, and it seems fair to me. If we didn't want actors, then directors wouldn't pay for them. If we wanted more plumbers, then we would be willing to pay more for them.

i get what carl's saying with the whole "why are they still using the index finger to check your prostate?" thing. I think the same thing every year when it's time for a pap smear. like, with the technology we have, how are we not doing this with a simple blood test or something by now. that damn speculum is still our best tool for this?

Still LOVE Karl! If you're a fan you missed his cameo as the copper recently in ‘the thief, his wife and the Canoe’ he was genuinely good. Was pleasantly surprised. The whole show was good too! But seeing him call ‘bullshit’ made it all worthwhile. Would never have guessed from these days he’d ever be able to act. Miles better than in Derek. Displayed some actual nuance...

A woman I worked with had a child that her nose almost looked like an elephant trunk. Sweetest little girl that would smile and laugh. She hardly ever cried. She would be about 21 today. I hope she is still a happy person but it was very sad.
