Today we'll take a look at a set of emergency lights with a couple of the LED modules that aren't as bright as they should be. The main issue is actually just a simple case of bad SMD caps (I know, I know. Most repairs the I do seem to be this same issue.), but simply by a minor case of ADD, I manage to compound the issue by blowing up a mosfet. I've seen many lights bite the dust in the past, regrettably most of them before I got into electronics, so I hope this video helps people that may be ready to sacrifice their faulty units to the trash.
As always, stay safe and have fun! And remember, if it's already broke, don't be afraid to rip it apart and try to fix it!
