I think sometimes we take a child's ignorance for granted.

it happened to me when i was just 7 yrs old. I can always see this little boy hanging around our garden(it's an ancestral house of my parents by the way) I told my mom about it and she just ignored me. There's this one time that completely made my parents decide to demolish the house is when i was sitting in the sofa and this kid tried to drag me on my shirt across the room. My dad saw it and he literally pulled me back. I told them it was lucas(that's the name of that kid) who tried to drag me coz he wants to play hide and seek. We called in granny and told her what just happened and she said this is the reason why she refuse to take the house and decided to live on an apartment far away from it. It turns out that this boy got murdered by a priest way back spanish era and his bones were being buried right below the house. (My parents hired some people to dig the basement) and yes they found a small femur bones and skull inside an almost rotting old brownish black sack made from cloth. After that incident it just stopped.

I was a kid once , but I have never had any kind of imaginary friend . But I know I was protected by someone . I used to see spirits but never had a friend who was imaginary ! I have a good memory pretty good , but never had one !

My son had an imaginary friend, it was terrifying , thankfully it didn't last long , he seemed to be there to chase something else away. My son was terrified of his bedroom , turns out he said this little person that looked like a Gnome but ugly would sit on his window ledge and stare , then appear in another part of his room. His friend was an older fisherman he came and chased this other away . His friend stayed a little longer but then was gone . He never spoke of it again. Kids are so open to anything it's hard for adults to comprehend never mind believe .

I never had any imagenary friends neither did MY sister. I call BULLSHIT on this imagenary friends alright it might happen once in a While but it's not common as you think and ONLY ONE of the seven children I have when little had a imagenary friend when she use to play school as sisters were alot older than HER so she was left out alot
