What I really want to see is someone submits a replay code with streamer-mode enabled and asks Emongg to review it, but really it's submitted by one of the editors and it's one of emongg's own games that he's reviewing

Streamer mode is only done on the client side so it doesn't matter if the submitter uses it, emongg would still see the names

Been learning a lot from emongg’s videos so having my own VOD reviewed was pretty cool. I’ve found that focusing on my decision making has made a substantial difference in my sombra gameplay and have climbed to plat 3 since this video was recorded. Maintaining that focus throughout long games is something I’m hoping will improve with time

I have to say the vetting process has been improved recently. You can really tell they are playing at the rank they claim to be most of the time. Couple months ago it looked like most people were boosted to the rank they were claiming to be at. Aim alone has this player in gold. Everything else about them is lacking and def what is holding them back. Emongg is spot on in his analysis here.

I’m Silver right now, and sadly, “boosted” is an accurate portrayal of Silver (and Bronze from what I can recall). It’s “stomp or be stomped,” but, more frequently, it’s “brain or no brain.” And if I have to have all the team’s brain cells as a support, then it doesn’t matter if I’m the most cracked support ever. I still only have 200 Hp. Also, if you’re wondering how someone could possibly get boosted to Silver, well. Let’s just say, I’ve had better teammates back in Bronze.

that c9 reminded me of a game 2 days ago, we are playing push, we are loosing, and its overtime, Im on sombra, I gt on the robot, kill the dps and start pushing. in comes our rein, now kep in mind he was talking shit about us dps, so illari peeks I s her I dive her, we are fighting, its me vs illari, rein on robot and the rest of the team is coming back. suddenly I hear defeat, in slowmo I turn around and I see the rein charging he was at my side trying to pin the death illari, like how do you compplain about throwing when you then proceed to just blow it all. our team was nowhere close to robot, I thought it be common sense to ahve the sombra scout and the tank guard robot but no he went dive on overtime...

It is common sense to not charge anywhere as rein during overtime or like maybe a short charge to cart would be acceptable 😂

Had a sombra in one of my games that was just trans locating in front of my team constantly. After killing them due to their position being given away by themselves he sent “?” In chat. Obviously he doesn’t know, so I had to humble to poor guy. “You are literally trans locating right in front of our screens dumb” ig people really don’t know when you use the ability it show the movement of the “glitch.” After that he seemed to learn lol

I haven’t played any comp dps since I placed in bronze 5 at the start of OW2 and this honestly gives me confidence I can at least get to gold. I’m diamond on support but playing dps scares me 😂

Like a lot of gold Soldiers, he's too focused on moving around to be able to hit things; i.e. his aim is too bad for it but he thinks that because higher-ranked players dodge and weave while fighting, he has to do it constantly. When he stops weaving, he starts hitting things.

Another thing I see a LOT with lower Soldier players is the ADA strafe when nobody is even looking at them, just makes it harder on themselves.

@@d_tor9857 Yeah. Whenever I see that in a coaching video, it bugs the hell out of me. I guess the reason is the same as what I wrote; they watch videos with high level players who strafe, but they don't make the connection that those players do it when someone is attacking them.

Honestly I think the reason they started missing those viruses, was because they were probably mad at their time. I know when I get a little heated, upset, annoyed, or even anxious, my hands shake like crazy and I overthink everything. Overwatch generally feels like a game where you just have to turn your brain off sometimes and go with the motions Also god it is so infuriating to not see them hacking a lot more. Every game I play I will literally hack every medpack I come across just in case I, an ally, or an enemy need it in a clutch moment. And like, I don't think you ALWAYS have to do the hack+virus combo but I feel like in cases where you have the chance to do it, you really need to do it. It does so much damage and can wipe out supports and low health dps much faster.
