8 жыл бұрынEmpire Biscuits are a wonderful confection, two shortbread biscuits with jam in between them, and then iced and topped off with a glace cherry. These biscuits are truly wonderful and are a favourite from childhood.

These were my brother and I's favourite biscuits when we were kids. Your ones look just the way I like them, the icing looks just the right consistency. I was always disappointed when some people just left a thick blob of icing right in the middle of the biscuit and never even spread it. I'll use this recipe soon I think, thanks.

+Geoff Cooper Hi Geoff, Over here in Northern Ireland we call these German biscuits and I needed a recipe for a competition I am entering and I am going to use your recipe so wish me luck lol

I saw several recipes, but I didn't understand what's this white liquid on the biscuit.

Hi Se, Nome. The white liquid is a sugar icing. It will set quite firm if left for a while.

In the UK they are known as Empire Biscuits, you may call them what you wish.
