Congratulations! You've helped me get through the crux of my transition and I'm forever grateful. That was where there were the big internal battles of deciding to come out and having to muster the inner strength of being out over the last year - telling my parents being the biggest hurdle. So now all the internal self doubt is gone and i can think about things other than transition, but i still have a lot to confront in relation to the external world's transphobia and the bodily struggles with dysphoria. I don't have money for electrolysis, and wouldn't have been able to buy your book, but because you are so generous vis a vis the ebook pricing I will be able to read for times when I'm struggling. You're the best!

This book is such a must have for all who are on the journey and all who can't make a step toward their journey. It fell me back in my chair, jumped me up to take notes, I was laughing, I was crying. The information blows my mind how you make every nonsensical thing make sense and give every roadblock a new reality and the ability to move it. I thought all these blockades were unique to me, and all it turned out to be is the same two headed monster causing me severe pain then keeping me in it. It addresses it all point by point. And for those who haven't seen her, I came to her with I thought uniquely personal but insurmountable issues, but I came away realizing every thing I had, had no answer or action - it was just a painful reality that I was stuck in. She gave me a brand new mindset, with everything possessing an affirmation and an action. The book is a must have, but you owe it to yourself to see her at least once.

Dr. Z, I think I hear a level of anxiety and apprehension in your voice today. I know this must be a fraught time, you are entering the publishing world and your success and failure on this project seems to hinge on what happens in the next few days and weeks. Everyone who has a creative output feels this way, and it's understandable and normal. Breathe. The book will be a success, and we will support you because you have supported us and because you are worthy of our support. Thank you for your counsel, your advice, your concern, and your wisdom. I didn’t even watch the video yet, but I purchased the Kindle version of the book. This is terrific. I am not only transgender, but I am also a blind person, so electronic formats are great. I wanted to say thanks, Dr.Z. I'm sure we've all been in a situation of uncertainty because we didn't know something we needed at the time. Like those times we've found ourselves lost at some airport and a friendly face showed us the right way to go, immediately erasing that doubt and anxiety. To us, you're that friendly face, but for us who are and have struggled with so many conflicting emotions and have battled to reconcile the sheer dissonance we've experienced, the shame, the guilt we've felt just for wanting to feel whole, you have been this incredible beacon of acceptance. You've offered us meaning and direction to questions we just didn't have the words to express and for those things we are all profoundly thankful. Your book is the building block of something wonderful that we are only fortunate to support. I cant wait for your book to arrive next week! I bought it without hesitation as its the very least i can do for someone who has been an absolute rock whilst on my journey to finding myself. I am so grateful to be living in a time where someone like me in rural Scotland can have access to vital information on gender and delivered through a lense of compassion but in a real and to the point way with absolute clear intention. I will purchase the book. You have been very helpful and inspiring, because your approach is deeply rooted in need to understand and learn and spread knowledge out of it, not all therapists have such a desire and drive, or extensive experience and knowledge. You have also helped me to find strength to re-transition after years of fear that contributed to the reason of my detransition more than 10 years ago. I believe the paradigm has shifted towards more love and authenticity, fear is a soul crusher, it is not the way how to live, and I could not live with fear and self abandonment and rejection anymore. By the way I did shed a tear myself watching you speak here, it's emotional for me too. Thank you sooo much for what you do.

You are such a caring and sweet lady for caring about all of us as much as you do so I’ll definitely be buying a copy based on that alone. You have done so much for all of us with all the videos you’ve posted. Also, you are so beautiful without your giant glasses. Please do more videos in the future without them. You need to show the world you are just as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside. I think that’s also a perfect analogy for what we all are as trans men and women in the trans community. It has been now a year where I started to watch all your videos and I have not enough words to say THANK YOU! you have opened my eyes in so many ways. I still did not transition due to my wife being completely against it and me being unable to hurt her more, but I understood that I am hurting myself more than anyone else and my therapist who now knows me very well, agrees with me that I have no other way that transition. I just got it. Definitely needed something positive to focus on. Lately I’ve been getting slightly angry with seeing all the anti trans buffoons. Now hearing Russia has banned medical transition it’s really hard to be positive at times. Your channel has always been self affirming and reassuring for me and helps me to find a balance inside myself. I would recommend the book to anyone in need of it. 💚

Awesome! Just bought the kindle version. I love “real books” but getting printed stuff from the us to Germany is frigging expOnsive. Was a bit tricky to find as the Amazon search did not bring up the title for me (or I’m just dumb) - using the Amazon link on your homepage and then following the little “go to kindle shop Germany” works like a treat 😅 it’s 0,92€ on the German Amazon clone Edit: the app is sucks, the website actually shows the PRINT edition available in Germany too! Me stupid. 😅 ❤Thank you for such an awesome gift!!!❤ Do you think there’ll be a German translation at one point? Good books on the topic are super rare in German(y), and I know a lot of “older” people who don’t speak/read enough English but could really use such a book. Especially since it’s also short(ish) and readable and not an off putting super scientific mega-treatise of 1000 pages 😅

OK, hands up. This is probably me being being totally thick and a tech numpty - but I've tried to purchase the on-line version of your book via the Kindle app and can't seem to get it to work. Not sure if that's because I'm in the UK or just me being a bit dumb. Lol. More than happy to pay for the book - just need to figure out how. Any advice?

Yes, the first chapter will help tremendously to understand what dysphoria is, identity, etc. You can read first 4 chapter for free when you look inside book content on amazon without buying. The rest chapters I would say yes and no. They sure will hep understand emotional pain you are going through and how it creates chaos in your mind.
