Ask any of them and they’ll tell you, enforcing the law is only part of their job. Their time is taken up with lots of other things. What I’d like to know is who decided they were going to take on all this ‘community’ work. The police have become a self serving entity. We saw this during lock down with that idiot on TV talking about searching people’s shopping trolleys for non essential items. The government had to step in and tell him to shut his stupid mouth, as his role was to enforce the law, not to make the law.

I remember this video and the behaviour they display is vile. No cameras and the auditor would have been twisted up, arrested and charged. He woukd have gone to court and lost his freedom. They are all pigs, no good ones, they either abuse or watch it happen and are complicit by their lack of intervention.

We've the Americans to thank for that, officer safety overrides everything else ,seemingly . The kids at Uvalde Texas are a prime example of that, nearly 400 cops standing around wetting their knickers. That is of course , when they aren't saying officer safety as a ruse to abuse you, ground sitting, cuffing, frisking etc.

Cuffs are a tool. Only to be used reasonably. Just like physical contact, it should be proportional and lawful. The constable must give reasonable articulable justification as to why they cuff someone...

In the seventies I was a new driver on buses, one morning I parked up with my conductor to go in a cafe called the Klondike. . This was a popular spot for bus crews and dockers. There was about fifteen buses parked up when we went in and when I came out there was a cop car across the road, a young policeman got out of the police car and came across to me and said quote “I don’t want to do this but my superior has told me to give you a caution for double parking, I’m really sorry I defiantly don’t want to do it but he has told me to”. Being green and late for my next run I agreed not realising the consequences. After watching these videos I would have told him to tell his opponent to flick off. I wonder what he turned out like he defiantly didn’t want to do it.

It's interesting. The complaints system, is getting slightly better, or I am. 8 upheld last year, 1 this year. 2 required remedial action by the Met. One self admitted, one an order from MOPAC. If I pushed it, I could easily get that up to 20 by following up things from last year. Like no decision letter. No contact in over a month. Anyway, off the MP tomorrow. I have an appointment. I might mention the Met's failures. In fact I will. I want to use his safety to get some action on the Mafia on Westminster Bridge. @@Mr-In-between

I;m sorry but it annoys me when auditors fall for Police language describing staff cars as "private" "Private" has two meanings, and they conflate the two... Private as in someone's personal property (staff or personal cars) and private as in keeping it out of sight. You keep your underwear or credit card private. Your car, on the street, is not private, its personal property, in public.

@@Mr-In-between I grew up in the 80's. Sus Laws, miners strikes, Birmingham 6, West Midlands Serious Crime Squad etc.. I developed an interest in abuse of power and done some study on it. I could bore the hind legs off a donkey 😂

I couldn't see any evidence of any of them having activated their body worn cameras.. none of them told him they were "filming" Why did he not pull them up for this and insist on them starting their cameras? . That ugly WPC was turned away from him the whole time...her camera was useless... Insist they face you...and remind them that you will be officially requesting that vid from them.... If you are going to be acting the lone auditor...conceal a remote mic on yourself.. have a backup cameraperson covertly filming at a distance so the wide view and the intimidation can be easily seen. A drone camera dismounted allows you to capture the vid in real time, transmitted to a secure vehicle some distance away with a laptop in the boot Your cellphone camera then becomes a sacrificial object and can of course be "confiscated" ...but the evidence vid lives on.....

Sometimes it's hard to think of all the things to say...as they get so much wrong. Drones are great for an over head angle..

I had an incident a while ago with a copper calling me CHAP he was not happy when I lost my rag with him when I told him to address me as sir or Mr not fucking chap what made it even worse was that he was about 12 and I’m in my 60’s
