I honestly think that the actress made the artistic choice to be more nasal-y for this role because 1- her natural voice is much deeper & 2- she was probably trying distance herself vocally from what we all know her from, the fake deep voice of Rosa from Brooklyn 99

the nasal was definitely intention for the character but Stephanie’s voice is more similar to mirabel than rosa

along with being pregnant in Family Madrigal and in Labor in Waiting For a Miracle, it coulda been allergies, but the directors left it in, to be more human like

Actually i dont think theres autotune cause Jessica sang Surface Pressure live a few times and her voice is really like that shes just that talented and they actually did exactly what you did live about that song you should check it out Jessica's incredibly talented they did the whole movie soundtrack live and Lin called put a choir of kids and made them sing as well it was so cute 🥹🥹🥹 and just like Jessica i dont think Stephanie also has that voice i mean she also talk like that too she was in In the Heghts too and her voice was also like that in that! I think you would love the live performance 🤍

@@astrologym1939 im aware and i can tell the different but she doesnt use it its usally when singers have also intense dance and can be easily out of breath but Jessica still didnt plus she also sang this acoustic and acapella so she didnt use autotune

Although I agree LMM has a mastery for certain type of songs, I think "Waiting on a miracle" is supposed to be about her being/feeling stuck, unlike "Let it go" where she's growing and evolving, Mirabel still has a long way to go before singing her "evolved" tune

Think of this for waiting a miracle, she is wanting more, so the song was deliberately held back until she got to the big moment in the song.

you should react to ‘camilo’s interlude’ but do the version with dolores’s voice actor! it also features camilo’s spanish voice actor! since he is a shapeshifter, it’s kind of about him looking in the mirror and not knowing who he is anymore because he is constantly having to be someone he isn’t and dolores reminds him who he is. it’s a really cute song!

And hers first writer song is Bidi Bidi Bidi Bom Bom😊 And Jennifer Lopez play as Selena Quintanilla in movie this year 1997 after two year hers death in 1995 🫶
