just my opinion, the score was very underscore. ISU treated him very bad
if judges 1 and 2 didn't give him 0 GOE for his Quad Salchow, I think he got 110 points and of course leading after short program and maye he still took silver medalist overall even though he just placed 4th in Free Skating because of his health not good and landed not well on most jumps. But I think Yuma is also a strong competitor and deserve silver medalist even though he just 17 and also his World Championship debut because he also got 100 points in Short Program and less mistake than Yuzuru on Free Skating. I think this year team Japan competed so drastically to hope won a medal because Shoma got bronze medalist in Free Skate small ceremony, Yuma got silver medalist on his World Championship debut after place 2nd in both Short Program and Free Skating and also 1 of 2 skater got 100 points in Short Program and Yuzuru won short program because his performance was so entertained

@@gelbblau3379 Yuzuru is the 1st skater who got certified 4A in international event at his last competition (Olympic 2022 FS) Ilia is the 1st skater who ratified success 4A in international competition

Commentator: Can this be enough to contest his world record? Score: 106.98 Commentator: (after a pause).. Only Yuzuru Hanyu can say this is acceptable. I think the commentator was puzzled by this underscored program too.

I think the commentator looks also quite disagree Yu's score like us too because he thought Yu-kun got underscore both TES and PCS score. Mark though Yuzu-kun should deserve got higher ...score mmmh.... should be received at least 108-109 points or maybe 110 points

that's right! I think abour >60% skating fans will stop maybe never watch figure skating after he retires or they will watch only ladies skating especially the Russian quads battles

I agree. I only watch now because I discovered him this year lol. (summer 2021). I have sought vids of past skates back to 2010 and love them but I don't feel the same when I watch other skaters. Although I like to watch Jason Brown and Shoma too it's not with the same emotion. I will go to watch ice shows in UK if Yuzu is in them ^^ but I hope he can keep going in comp a few more years.

I really wish he could've continued competing just for the fun of it. I'm pretty sure Yuzu already knows he won't be scored fairly, but if I were him, I'd compete to show judges and ISU that no matter how much they underscore him, he's still gonna be supreme than any other skaters. Since it's FS season, I have been watching competitions and there are a lot of good men FS out there budding and would probably improve but this 'nonchalant', artistic, effortless, super hard transition- skating only Yuzu can perform (as of this writing).

here after he announced his retirement. one eye is laughing, another crying. this man was the reason i started skating, and i adore him with my whole heart. i wish i had a chance to see him compete live, but i guess, better luck next time. i hope he's happy

i agree with your opinion, he's the reason I rewatch figure skating after Queen Yuna couldn't won Gold at Sochi 2014 with Yuzuru huhu. I want to cry but I can't despite I predict correct Beijing 2022 was his last competition because he got ankle injury on November 2021 when he prepare for NHK Trophy 2021 then he had to withdraw both of his 2 last Grand Prix and his last free skate at Olympics 2022 as a competitor

This is my favorite performance from him. Everything is just perfect. I think he deserves higher score. all GOE scores stay below 3 out of 5, that's ridiculous. all of his jumps are almost perfect. I think they deserve at least 3-4. Can they find out someone else do 3A better? Chen Wei from USA? Come on. Don't kid me. Yuzuru's performance is a piece of Arts. Chen Wei is just doing sports.🤪

you said right, all of his jumps must derserved +3-5 G0E. Judges 1 & 2 gave him 0 GOE on the 1st jump (Quad Salchow), I'm so fxxkin' angry. I agree, Nate's 3A axis weren't too good

it seems the score should be higher around 10 points. His GOE were low as well as his presentation score..... However, he always win in the audience's eyes.

huhu Yuzu always got underscore when he still competed even he skated too perfect withou any mistakes. ISU, JSF hate him Nathan got overscore with -/+5 GOE especially his PCS and spin

I think only previous figure skater winners should be on the judges seat. Because they know how hard it is learn to jump and master the skill of the sport. It is so maddening to see the blatant ignorance of the judges. aaaarrrggghhhhh. they do not know how to score perfection:) or maybe we need robots to judge, then it would be fairer.

Just watched the recent worlds. Recently, the winning formula now is to have a clean skate and land quads. However, even if Hanyu does just that (with the quality of his technique), his scores are kinda low. 🤔

sad but true. his SP at Worlds 2021 was so fxxkin' clean especial his amazing 3A but scores (107 points despite I agree his 4S and 4T3T were better than Worlds 2021). WTT 2021 was the event he didn't land clean 3A, he saved his jump like a cat and made me very scared if he fell very horrible

I think Nate deserved won gold medal in FS and total score but he should recieved 300 - 310 points not 320 points. about Nate's SP, i agree with your comment. I think he didn't deserve won bronze small medal ceremony because he got -1 deduction and -5 GOE with a very horrible fall 4Lz? 4F? opening (sorry I don't remember that jump he fell so hard) , also his PCS was too high for me although I admit his techinal element jumps is quite ok but GOE mmmh I think it still too high for him. and I also don't like his spin, that was no charisma like Yu-kun. and for Yu-kun, he should deserve get higher GOE for his techinal elements, you can see his dissapointed face after know the SP result

haha ISU judges are so stupid. he's a rockstar on ice. he skates like a pro skater not a competitive skater that's why his step sequence is really smooth, comfortable and must be max level 4. they always underscore his TES, PCS while some Japanese pets, Russian skater mostly are from Sambo 70, American usually got overscore with awful technique jumps

@@swanyu i feel like some skaters recently have surpassed the limits of the sport, at the point where judges can’t give them the credit they deserve it’s so sad. His step seq is not only entertaining to see, it’s insanely difficult. They should change the rules and adapt the scoring so skaters like Yuzuru get what they deserve (like a level 5 category lmao, even though with him they should create a « god level » category) 🤣🤣 it’s the same effect when I see some shitty level 4 spins getting the same points than beautiful and difficult positions spins like Adeliya’s ones. No but seriously, the sport is evolving, if the rules can’t follow no wonder the sport will lose many fans, and not only from Yuzuru’s retirement.

No, this was Stockholm 2021, in the middle of pandemic. He had to leave Canada because of travel restrictions between Japan and Canada that time
